Kept My Interest Piqued!

I was only expecting the the mythological/supernatural aspects of the book. When it began with sci-fi, I knew I would love it! I was right. Loved it!!!

Could not finish

I try to finish every book or audiobook I read or listen to. This one started off good and went downhill from there. The narration was not good and that threw the story off. The hero was too needy and whined worse than any female. He got on my nerves and I couldn't take it anymore. I'll pass on book 2.

Ugh

Well at first I thought this was going to be a good listen, but then it ended up being a disappointment. The cliffhanger didn’t leave me in wanting to know what was going to happen next . Such a disappointment

Sci fi mythology supernatural

Gods are aliens that came to this world and were treated like gods. Their myths brûlés to be this huge deal in2079 Earth. They own huge corporation. Have there is sex training programs and sex workers. The orgies are sanctioned breeding ground. That part was a bit of a turn off but there was hope.
Diana and Mac were destined to meet and be more. Their one night was just the beginning. The courtship would be different. Their road to future was something you could not plan. The final notes of the story was indeed and cliffhanger but that was an over arching cliffhanger. We see Diana and Mac get their ending.

loving this book

I love this story can't wait to purchase the next book. it had me at the start.

Disappointing but Do-able

ummmm, I'm not disappointed but I am. I'm halfway through the book and the narrator is horrible. Then there are unanswerable questions that I keep having, like, Is Mac 6'5" or 6'7"? Why does he have a Deep Southern Drawl instead of a Texas Twang? How is it that Diana is such a good girl, but doesn't have friends, refuses her mother's calls for weeks, and doesn't date? The plot, though, is like the clawfoot tub, just sinking into the floor and Noone repairs it.

Why this narrator?

I liked the story but was hard to pay attention to the narrator. I found myself rewinding all the time. The issue for me is the protagonist is a young black female and the narrator is an old white lady, even the dialogue falls short.

Nice and interesting take on shifters

This story has a different take on how shifters were created. It was interesting and a very pleasant BWWM shifter romance. It is hard to find good BWWM romances that have good narration. This book actually has a great narrator. I enjoyed this story very much and have already gotten the next book in this series

For me personally, It was ok

This is the fourth book I've listen to that the black women had to have European ancestry. It is so annoying that media, books and this society keeps implying that, no man would want women of African decent unless they were mixed with another race. It is ridiculous since one of the parents had to be Dark skinned, since they claim to have "brown skin" in all the books. It is such a disappointment!! I as a dark brown women have had no problems attracting White, Asian or other men. Please stop the madness!!!
