Publisher's summary

Imagine a vicious, cold-blooded, heartless villain who canes children and kicks puppies. Tim will totally kill that guy for you. If you pay him. And provide proof. But if you're just using him to knock out your own evil empire competition, look out. You'll be paying for your own funeral.

In the fourth book of this fast, funny, and fascinating series Tim's job puts Kissy in danger and she has to convince the boys the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the girl.

Killer with a Conscience

I am loving this series about Tim, the Killer with a Conscience who only kills bad guys. Helped by Avi his first target since coming home, and Kissie the girl he's loved from afar for years. I love these characters they are so interesting and although Kissie seems to be with Avi I want to see her with Tim.

The contract again goes wrong putting them all in danger but as with the other books, they do the right thing despite the risks to themselves.

The narration by Gwendolyn Druyor who is also the author is excellent as I've come to expect from her.

Good

Kissy is an interesting person, wanting them to put others first instead of her. Good characters with Tim and Kissy . Given audio for my voluntary review

Better than the others

I liked this book better than the others I've listened to so far. I paid more attention to the story and found it more interesting.

"Always check the power first."

Book four of the Killer on Call series and continuing the misadventures of Kissie, the attractive and headstrong singer entertainer, her current boyfriend, Avi, the policeman, and Tim, the Killer for hire to eliminate had guys. He has admired Kissie from afar since schooldays. Fast paced and sometimes funny action as plans go awry yet again combined with a vaguely cheesy romance.

The story is quick read at about three hours, narrated expertly by the author herself, and, although it is better to have read the preceding books in the series to fully enjoy the interplay between the lead characters, it does stand alone.
Valium is a refreshingly bright detective thriller. Only two more left now: I'm looking forward to them. Recommended
