Publisher's summary

Most of us take the supply of electricity for granted. This booklet gives simple explanation of what is electricity and how it reaches your home. Concepts such as AC and DC current and a few simple electrical components and their functions are explained. Mathematical expressions are totally avoided.

Drawings and illustrations are provided to support the explanations and to make the book easier to understand.

This book is recommended for everyone and to be kept at home for easy and casual listening to facilitate understanding of the flow of electricity to your house.

Students beginning their graduate courses in Physics and Engineering would also find this book very useful to understand the concepts and to have a strong understanding of Electrical concepts before taking up more advanced subjects on Electricity or Electrical Engineering.

how they take time to explain how electricity acts and it's make up

went a bit fast at explaining without understanding why some things are compared. As a first year electrician this helped very much

Great to start out with

I barely understand anything about the topic of electricity. It is a great way to introduce myself more on the topic. Hopefully I can further my education even more on the the topic on the cheap off of audible.

Basic concepts

Short and covers basics… fulfilled my needs. Unfortunately the paper book apparently contains many diagrams so the performer describes the diagrams. Which is sometimes successful. Also, this is the poorest quality audio of any book I have come across on Audible.

incredibly poor quality recording

can literally hear people in the background. Narrator stops and repeats when making a mistake without successfully editing these blunders out. It's just amateur.
