Narrator Needs Acting Lessons
Narration requires acting skills. I don't understand how Misty Reign was hired to do audiobooks when she ends each sentence with a high inflection as if she is giving a dramatic conclusion. The story itself is engaging, but OMG listening to this three tone reader is beyond annoying.
Please have her get some training before doing anymore narration - PLEASE.

Drama for real
I hope there is a book two because the book ended with an extreme loose end. Apparently Misty got tired of narrating which resulted in reading the same lines twice; other than this, she did okay. Some events that took place makes you go “Hmmm”; more logical actions could be taken to resolve dilemmas. Will look for book two if there is one.

Where's the next chapter?
This book started so slow and stilted that I increased the speed of the narrator. The delivery was poor at first, sounding like script narration rather than a narrative or storytelling. Chapter 25 has a couple of repetitive lines. If you have time and able to stick with it the plot thickens like gravy. But the book ends with so many unanswered questions. So, where's the next chapter or book? Is this a series?
