Dawn Jennings pen Name Divine J was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her two siblings and both parents Kim and Tim Giles. For the longest time she couldn't figure out what her purpose in life was going to be. She enjoyed doing many things but nothing she did ever seem to bring true fulfillment. One day she started writing short stories with her older cousin at the tender age of 13. Writing immediately began to bring her happiness like nothing else but starting out she wasn’t sure if she had what it took to make it writing professionally. She ended up graduating from Washington high school in Milwaukee with a plan to go off to college and pursue a college degree in nursing. However, she made the difficult decision to stay home with hopes of figuring out what she really wanted to do for a living. She began to almost bounce around with her career until one day she ran into Racquel Williams and this would change her life forever. Dawn began to write and submitted her first book “If I Can't Have You” which became an Amazon best seller. She went on to release seven more books thereafter. She believes she has found her passion and is fulfilled with what's she has accomplished as a writer. Her goal is to become a New York Times best seller and she won't let up until she gets there.
