Publisher's summary

The earthquake the nation never saw coming.

The election of Donald J. Trump sent shockwaves around the world. Shock troops were deployed along with the predictable rent-a-mob who stormed the streets of our nation’s cities. Within hours a movement was born.

The Trump agenda, promoted daily to millions of voters and adoring fans, was to “Make America Great Again”. It was an agenda focused on strengthening the economy, restoring the federal courts, addressing the overwhelming surge of illegal immigration, rebuilding the military, and uplifting America’s standing in the world. For the opposition, the objective was to impeach Donald Trump.

Stephen E. Strang will explore the nature of this dramatic confrontation, covering various topics, including:

  • The reactions of conservative and Christian voters to the Trump agenda
  • International reactions to the election
  • The economy, a look at the unprecedented market movements
  • Fake news, the death of journalism, and the media’s war on the president
  • Organizations such as Antifa and Black Lives Matter
  • George Soros: villain number one

In Trump Aftershock, Strang explores and analyzes Trump’s effect on American culture from a Christian perspective, drawing upon interviews with many of the key players and offering insightful commentary on what the long-term prospects of the ongoing war of worldviews may portend.

Repetitive but Informative

I'm thinking Strang must've thrown together many past news articles as well as written completely fresh material for this book. Either that, or he's just naturally repetitive. While there was new information, I couldn't but feel like the whole narrative about the upset of the 2016 election that nobody saw coming as a dead horse kicked to open every chapter. I don't know how many times Strang makes reference to his night at the New York hotel the night of the election, but he's told it enough. He repeats a lot of material from his first book, God and Donald Trump. With the topic in discussion, I expected some repetition, even so, listening to this in my car made me wonder sometimes if I had either (a) selected the right book to listen to, or (b) accidentally rewound the audio. Adding to this repetition, are some common phrases that after awhile, lose their pizazz ("behind the scenes," "nobody saw coming," etc. are perhaps the biggest ones.)

All that being said, the new information in here (different from God and Donald Trump) IS worth the purchase. This documents the facts of what the media didn't tell you. At least I wasn't aware of it. Also, reading this in the 2020 upset of the so-called Biden-win is very eye-opening, and connects for me perhaps the reasoning behind the bizarre "win" Biden has accomplished, and how it may've not been a true win.

Don't let me criticism of his repetition deter you from buying this book, it is indispensable if you want a true record of a great first term of the 45th President. Or even just the first 2 years. It will be vastly different from perhaps most tellings of his current legacy.

Great Story

The story was the greatest I have ever heard! I knew Trump is the man for the job and I supported him, and if he runs in 2020 he will get my vote!
Trump is the best President the United States has had in a long time. Trump is an interesting man!
