Wonderful Book
I read reviews after I was almost done listening. I don’t leave reviews, but listen to audible books daily. I’m not even done with this book, but wanted to leave a review. I love how he owns his mistakes and is working on being a better husband, father, and person. His out look on life is so similar to my own, but yet two totally different people. I think this is the best book for what this world is going through right now. I’m with him… Unity please.

Great read for anyone looking to better themselves
Before reading this, I had heard of Terry Crews, but I couldn’t tell you anything he has done and had no idea he was ever in the NFL.
I connected a lot with many of the things Terry was saying in this book. While I didn’t have it as bad growing up, I still ended up with a lot of the same conceptions of how I needed to be based on how others acted and what was expected of me. I also had a lot of anger issues I didn’t even know I had until I got older. Luckily I had my own awakening before it got to the point of a “D-Day” like scenario with my family and have been working to be better since then.
While I connected with many things Terry said in this book, he made some connections that I haven’t made that have made me reevaluate how I still see and relate to certain issues in my life. I loved how Terry looks at things now and is willing to push forward in doing the right thing even if it’s definitely not the popular thing.

have been at my wits end in life and really depressed and feeling isolated and alone. But your story makes me feel like I’m not alone.
