Alfred Larribee is sent by his father to live with his cousin’s family in the West. Larribee proves to be lazy and shiftless…spending most of his time in town…drinking and gambling…even cheating at cards. Dan Gurry is the owner and hopes to find a cowboy who can ride Sky Blue…but the first one to try is seriously injured. After that no one is willing to volunteer to try again except Larribee.

The hero is harrowed so if you can’t stand extreme conditions you may be biting your nails to the quick.

Amazingly Written and Produced
At 57 years of age. I have read and listened to thousands of books. Hundreds of writers have left their stories on my brain and in my soul. This book albeit is not a western in the classic sense. It is a depiction of those days past. Traber Burns reading is like a front row seat as every event unfolds. The most dissapointing part in the. book were those two words, " The End ." It has now become one of my top 20 books ever. Amazing .. Absoulutely a work of art!!
