Publisher's summary

To the rude guy in apartment five,

I’m glad you’re happy to have moved into a new apartment, but no:

I do not want to have a beer with you.

I do not want to have a nude sleepover.

I do not want to make you breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how many lap dances you promise to give me.

I do not need you to serenade me through the walls at 1am.

And no, I have no interest in letting you take me on a date.

Sincerely,

Magnolia Allen

P.S. And no, I do not want to know how many accents you can growl in during intimate moments. How is that even a thing?

P. P. S. Also, you will never find me standing naked in your living room ever again, so please stop leaving lingerie packages on my welcome mat.

5 Stars for the rude guy in apartment 5

Sometimes we just need a second chance, a do-over to get it right, and sometimes if we're lucky, we're given the opportunity. Magnolia and Jagger get that second chance in this funny and steamy romance.

Magnolia is a quick-witted young personal blogger starting a new job at a secret startup. Jagger is the cocky, salacious note leaving neighbor in apartment 5. Magnolia and Jagger's relationship starts through a series of notes left on each other's doors. These notes will have you laughing and blushing at the comments written. However, all is fun and games until the man behind the curtain is revealed. Magnolia will have to face her past to move forward. Jagger will have to be ready to convince her to stick around. The twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat. You can't go wrong with this fun romance.

Funny Entertaining listen

Audible Review
4.5 Stars for To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five (The Inappropriate Bachelors #1)
If you are looking for a fun, entertaining book to listen to, I highly recommend this book. The narrator does a great job bringing the characters and the story to life.
Magnolia Allen has moved to San Francisco to start over, she has a new job, a new apartment and a very interesting new neighbor. As soon as she moves in a note appears from the man in apartment 5 and what follows is a series of notes, when Magnolia decides to find out more about her rude neighbor she finds out he is none other than Jagger Scott a man from her past.....
The chemistry is sizzling and the banter is witty as this couple get to know each other all over again, I really enjoyed this story, it has the perfect mix of love, passion and humour and Laurie West did a wonderful job with the banter, the chemistry and the story. Looking forward to more from The Inappropriate Bachelors.

Hot and Annoying

Magnolia and Jagger relationship is funny from the beginning. He is her new neighbor that annoys her to gain her attention. They have a past that she has been running from because everyone was not telling the truth.

Entertaining

Having read and listened to previous books by this author I was excited to listen To The Rude Guy In Apartment Five. This was a fun and entertaining listen that captured my attention from the first to the last chapter.

This is Magnolia Allen and Jagger Scott’s story and is certainly steamy and at times funny. The narrator Laurie West is relatively new to me and she did a good job with the narration.

Having moved to San Francisco for a new start, she meets her new neighbor when he sends her a note. When more notes follow she is determined to find out more about the rude man in apartment five. What she doesn’t realize is that he is a man from her past, Jagger.

The chemistry between Magnolia and Jagger is off the charts and it was funny to listen as these two became reacquainted. This story is full of romance, passion and humour, the characters easy to relate to and made for an enjoyable listen.

things I loved

This book had things I loved, and things that made me cringe. I landed on a four star rating because I couldn't put it down. It was predictable in areas, but messed with your mind in others LOL. Magnolia definitely had to love him, because some of the things he said and did (the cringe worthy actions were mostly in his past, not so much for some of the dumb and thoughtless things he said) are things no one would put up with unless she loved him. I'm sure I'll read this again, but now that I know their past, maybe I'll like it better the second time.

Spoilers: Magnolia dated his brother, but never loved him as more then a friend. It was always Jagger she loved. Jagger was pretending to date her sister so her sister could date an older guy. Through dumb misunderstandings they don't see each other or speak for 10 years until Jagger, who also has always loved Magnolia, found her and orchestrated an elaborate scheme to win her.
