Enjoyed another Henderson book

This author does a wonderful job of creating caring and compassionate characters in situations that are real and intermingling Christian values criss-crossing with unsavory criminals...and the narrator is very good at distinguishing the characters for easy listening without making anything distracting. Well done, ladies!

great book

Loved it as I do all Dee Henderson's. Good performance, good storyline. kept me entertained.

Interesting story.

Story is pretty good just too much reference into christianity. Not enought romance, love story a little poor for my liking.

Heartwarming mystery solver

I loved the characters and the heartwarming and realistic challenges of the characters.
I also loved the “God” conversations mixed into the thought provoking mysteries.

Cold cases overlap

I enjoyed the mysteries, two cold cases that had surprising intersections. The romances were less likable. It’s hard to believe a police detective would be the rich boyfriend of a music megastar and maintain the relationship for years but not marry her because she was not a Christian. And a woman who has been in a long-term relationship but puts off marriage and makes a pros and cons list to try to decide whether to marry her significant other. I did appreciate that the detectives regularly prayed for divine guidance in solving the crimes. Most of the narration was good, but I found the male detective’s voice grating.

Great Listen!

I loved the storyline, the characters and the twists! Dee Henderson did not disappoint with this thrilling story. I can't wait to read/listen to more about Evie and the cold case squad.

I enjoyed the turns in this book, though I guessed at the ending. I enjoyed how the case intersected with her new partner. was worried my time to read.

Great Listen, good mystery, Christensen Novel

A very fun listen. Full of crime solving cold cases that oddly twist into interesting linked cases. Really fun !isten! I highly recommend!

Good read

The story was interesting, but the number of characters and situations made it a little confusing. I enjoyed the narration, but the narrator has a very soft way of performing the story, and I often became sleepy as a result.
