Story
Frances Janvier spends most of her time studying. Everyone knows Aled Last as that quiet boy who gets straight A's. You probably think that they are going to fall in love or something. Since he is a boy and she is a girl. They don't. They make a podcast. In a world determined to shut them up, knock them down, and set them on a cookie-cutter life path, Frances and Aled struggle to find their voices over the course of one life-changing year.

Story
For Angel Rahimi life is about one thing: The Ark—a boy band that's taking the world by storm. Being part of The Ark's fandom has given her everything she loves—her friend Juliet, her dreams, her place in the world. Her Muslim family doesn't understand the band's allure—but Angel feels there are things about her they'll never understand. Jimmy Kaga-Ricci owes everything to The Ark. He's their frontman—and playing in a band with his mates is all he ever dreamed of doing, even it only amplifies his anxiety.

When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

Story
For Lila Reyes, a summer in England was never part of the plan. But then the Trifecta happened, and everything—including Lila herself—fell apart. Worried about Lila’s mental health, her parents make a new plan for her: Spend three months with family friends in Winchester, England, to reset. But with the lack of sun, a grumpy inn cook, and a small town lacking Miami flavor (in food and otherwise), what would be a dream trip for some feels more like a nightmare to Lila…until she meets Orion Maxwell. It isn’t long before Lila is not only charmed by Orion, but England itself.

Arek hadn’t thought much about what would happen after he completed the prophecy that said he was destined to save the Kingdom of Ere from its evil ruler. So now that he’s finally managed to (somewhat clumsily) behead the evil king (turns out magical swords yanked from bogs don’t come pre-sharpened), he and his rag-tag group of quest companions are at a bit of a loss for what to do next. As a temporary safeguard, Arek’s best friend and mage, Matt, convinces him to assume the throne until the true heir can be rescued from her tower. Except that she’s dead.

It is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. Crest is not excited to be on their Journey: the month-long sojourn on land all teen merfolk must undergo. The rules are simple: Help a human within one moon cycle and return to Pacifica to become an Elder—or fail and remain stuck on land forever. Crest is eager to get their Journey over and done with. Humans are disgusting. They’ve polluted the planet so much that there’s a floating island of trash that’s literally the size of a country.

Publisher's summary
A short novella based on the beloved characters from Alice Oseman’s acclaimed debut novel Solitaire and graphic novel series Heartstopper – now a major Netflix series. From the author of the 2021 YA Book Prize winning Loveless.
The festive season isn't always happy for Tori Spring and her brother Charlie. And this year's going to be harder than most.
I used to think that difficult was better than boring, but I know better now…
I’m not going to think about the past few months, about Charlie and me, and all of the sad. I’m going to block it all out Just for today.
"Happy Christmas, " I say.

Sweet simple story of sibling love
Sweet, simple and lovingly crafted story of sibling love and support in facing challenges of holiday stress while coping with a teen eating disorder. Adds more depth to #Heartstopper characters in Charlie and Nick's families, bouncing narrative perspective from Tori, to Charlie, to younger brother Oliver, with excellent audiobook voicing for each.

I love this story
This is definitely a story not worth a full audible credit, because it’s much cheaper to just buy the audiobook from them. HOWEVER! I love this story. I have the book and I’ve read it over and over. But it’s kinda nice to have it read to you. Solid performances all around.
It’s nice to read a book without having to turn the light when going to bed. That’s mostly why I got this.

Great!
If you like the solitaire series, then this book is for you! It explains certain parts of the stories you missed, I love how oseman’s books all connect together making this one huge story line, even the ones not including the main characters (radio silence) you get hints of events and characters from different books, and you get to hear all the characters stories, and opinions really forming the characters. But if this is your first oseman book I would suggest reading Heartstopper and solitaire first, it would make a lot of sense.

All the stars for all the Heartstopper books!
I'd be really surprised if I ever rated a Heartstopper book less than 5*- they are the most precious books and deserve all the stars.
This was a quick little novella, giving us a glimpse into Charlie's mental health and how he's dealing with the holidays- and how his family is handling things now that he's back home. Things aren't great, but hopeful.
I liked that it was told from the pov of all 3 of the Spring siblings- Oliver is such a sweetie.
The narrators were great!
