Fun Cozy Mystery

Meg Walton is sleuthing againin this book series. Meg owns a donut shop and puts a spellwhere you cannotgain weight from them. No one knows she is a witch. Meg works with her detective boyfriend Conner. There is a talking cat (her grandmother was dying and they did a spell to give her nine cat lives). Her neighbor is upset, but he didn'twant to talk right then. He assured her he would meet her in the morning and talk. Meg and Conner go into investigating the murder of Walter. The narration by Lainie Pahos is good and maintains your interest. The characters are believable and likeable. The storyline keeps your interest. I love the fact that the story is clean, no sex, gore or foul language. I reccommend this book for a fun family night or for your teen or great for a slumber party. We enjoyed this book and love meredith.

The Witches of Enchanted Bay: The Nuts and Bolts o

Meg comes home from a date with Connor. She meets up with her new neighbor, Walter, who's in the middle of a divorce. He speaks with Meg and then they part. The next morning Meg notices a light and goes to investigate. That's when she finds Walter's body. She calls the police. Now Meg and Connor ate looking for the murderer. There are too many suspects ranging from his future ex wife to his ex mistress to his son. There are a lot of suspects and just as many reasons for Walter's demise. Can they find the murderer before he strikes again, if he does?
Lainie Pahos is a fantastic narrator who shows her talent as she brings each character to life.

Great Read

The Nuts and Bolts of Murder (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #6) was another great read by Amelia Morgan. Meg thinks that her sleuthing days are over but she is sorely mistaken. This time her neighbor Walter is murdered. Her and Walter search for his murderer. I loved reading this book.
