I'm enjoying this series

Again, I enjoyed the story, but not the narrator so much. So we met Grady, and for a small part Max, in the first book. Max was happy about leaving his pack to help out Grady who is dying from the Slow Death & has a very rare blood type. When Max meets Grady, it is apparent that they are mates. Before Max leaves, his Alpha demands that he keeps his eyes & ears open & report back with any findings. Turns out that they want a part of Zanders packs land. Max really doesn't have anything to report to them while helping Grady and falling in love with, so the alpha sends Max's brother Vic to demanding audience w/Zander. I disliked Vic from the moment we met him. Max's pack is against any mates between packs. The west pack Alpha is a real piece of work. He demands part of Zander's pack lands to compensate the West for Max helping save Grady's life.

Grady gets his donor.

The Ultimate Sacrifice is Book 2 in the Four Packs Trilogy series and needs to be enjoyed in order as it's an ongoing series. In this story Grady is patiently waiting for his donor Max to arrive and his transfusions can start. In the last book Grady's friend Marrok went on the search to find his friend a donor, which proved to be difficult as Grady has a rare blood type. But one was found in a neighboring territory, and he's coming to stay and help Grady get better. I really enjoyed this book. It isn't like other fated mate books I've read/listened to. I loved the first meeting of Grady and Max, though Grady was literally at deaths door. I wasn't sure if I'd like Max, but after everything he's done I think he's a keeper. And I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next book. I definitely recommend this series.
Narrator Guy Veryzer does a fabulous job. He has the perfect voice for narration and is a joy to listen to.

Great book, kept my attention all the way to the end, amazing audio delivery, loved it. Will be reading again, every chapter was received amazingly do recommend you give it a read.

Great story

I really enjoyed the Ultimate Sacrifice. This is my second audiobook of this series and I love anything by BL Maxwell. Looking forward to the next book.

loved the book and am ready for the third book in the trilogy series. Bring it on!

Great second instalment!

I loved Grady and Max, they are both super such great characters. Grady is so sweet, accepting his fate with grace and without ever becoming bitter. And Max is selfless and protective, which I love!
The interactions between the packs are going on and becoming clearer from book one, and I can’t wait for book 3 because I’m sure it will be amazing!

I loved this book. Guy Veryzer's voice really brings this story to life and makes you love the characters even more. Grady Summerville has the slow death and has accept he may die. Until his friend Marrok finds a donor named Max Steele in the West territory. Grady owes Max everything. Max and Grady didn't imagine they'd fall for each other. Tensions rise between the East and West territories. Max is torn between his loyalty to his pack and Grady. Will Max choose to make the ultimate sacrifice?
