We live in a world of seeds. From our morning toast to the cotton in our clothes, they are quite literally the stuff and staff of life, supporting diets, economies, and civilizations around the globe. Just as the search for nutmeg and the humble peppercorn drove the Age of Discovery, so did coffee beans help fuel the Enlightenment and cottonseed help spark the Industrial Revolution. And from the fall of Rome to the Arab Spring, the fate of nations continues to hinge on the seeds of a Middle Eastern grass known as wheat.

The first part of the book covers the basics of tropical houseplant care, such as light, water, soil, and fertilizer. The second part of the book is a troubleshooting guide, with information on how to identify and fix common problems such as pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies. Exactly what I need!
I desperately needed this book when it came to me. I have multiple dying plants and some with mild in their pots, and this guide helped me to relax a bit. I realized I'd been watering my plants all wrong, which is what led to my issues. I also learned a lot about diagnosing issues with your plants, which I feel is not a common topic to talk about. (at least in my world). Got what I was looking for and much more, would definitely recommend.
