So SOOTHING
I LOVE listening to Sterling K Brown. I just turned 80, and have always had difficulty falling asleep. I have been a member of Audible for over 18 years. I recently discovered these incredible "Audible Sleep" stories, and have been listening to them for three months, at least. Sterling is by far my favorite, but I enjoy most evening stories. I wait to begin listening until I am ready "to nestle into my pillow, and take a deep breath". I immediately began taking so many deep breaths, I couldn't believe it. I usually fall asleep before the story is over. I have always been a nature lover of "birds, trees, water, rain, etc" and these SOOTHING bedtime stories evoke many memories.
This is such a blessing to me. I've never had someone read bedtime stories to me, and I never knew what I missed, until now.
I look forward to relaxing at bedtime and falling asleep with so many SOOTHING stories.

Beautiful Story
The Tree is such a lovely, soothing story. And Sterling K. Brown delivers it beautifully, with his rich, melodic tone. I slow it down to .8, just to make it a bit sleepier, but that’s personal preference.
I struggle to get to sleep, but I rarely make it to the end of any of Brown’s stories. My kids love them, too.

Very effective bedtime story
His voice is very calming and soothing. The way he tells the story makes you really see it in your mind’s eyes. I literally listen to him every night and try to get to the end of the story. I fall right off to sleep before the end of the story every night.
