Another great book

A fun and exciting listen. I really enjoyed this book plus the narrator is amazing, one of the best.

Ahh Parenthood, salvos matures quickly in the series

Another great addition to the series. Salvos is a learning surrogate parent to three wyvern babies for a third of the book. Thank goodness Willie is there to supervise. We finally learn a little bit more about our favorite Willow wisp.

I love the series. I can't wait for the next book.

My only complaint is that it's too short! I love the fact that we learn about other characters and develop the world a bit more.
The foreshadowing of what's to come is great. I can't wait to see Salvos develop even further and become more powerful!

Yes, there is some plot armour going on, but seriously, what move, show, etc. really doesn't have plot armour lol.

Not the most exciting book I’ve read in the series but still good

I thing the performance was pretty good but not as many exciting things as the other books like book 7 which had a class evolution because the thing I enjoyed most is when new skills are used it’s interesting but over all still a good book

I'm loving this story.

I really love this series, and it's became one of my favorite. I can't seem to help binge listening and can't wait for the next book. I mean realistically I have to wait, but I'm excited to see what happens next.

Meh… quality is falling fast

For a book called Salvos, Salvos is now treated as filler while the main story is happening to the side and background characters. There isnt any progression for Salvos, just filler and pushing the demon story along. This is more like one of those half books that only exist to tell you about what happened while the main character was somewhere else doing their own thing.

I think im done with these titles. Maybe ill pick it back up once its all done but not worth the credit or money at the moment.

Lazy and Falling Quality

Not only is this shorter, but the writing just feels sloppy and lazy. The voice actor is amazing and she kills it, but I notice repeated writing techniques. This book feels like filler. Nothing really happens and don’t get me started on half of the book where Salvos is being a mom. Like, why? It doesn’t really show any character growth. She doesn’t learn to care for others, just upholding a promise like she always does.

so disappointing and lazy writing

I honestly don't know what happened to this author, but the writing is horrendous and frankly insulting. what happened to that writing from the first 2-3 books? no tension/challenge to MC, boring predictable plot points, FLAT characters, needless change of POVs, and book full of flashbacks, recalls, and repeated title-calling that it's mind-numbing, which made it soo obvious that the writer is dragging this story so they can squeeze this series for more books to sell.... I'm out and want a refund if I can.
