Publisher's summary

I’m a kick-butt tracker. The best in the business.

Dead or alive, I find them. No one can hide from me, including people’s predestined mates. I can hook couples up better than Tinder. It’s my specialty. A year ago, I opened my own agency, and now that I’m finally looking out for number one, my bank account has regained its lost confidence.

So, when Jake Knight suddenly returns, determined to drag me back into the dangerous life I used to lead - the same one where ramen was a staple, and I became homeless - I put my brand-new Louis Vuitton boot down. He can take his hot werewolf self back to whatever hole he crawled from.

Sure, it sucks there’s a supernatural war brewing, and the werewolf I used to date has gone missing, but Jake won’t drag me back into that life. No way. He can fight crime all on his lonesome. I’m done with it.

Or at least that’s my goal until the attempts on my life begin, and I barely escape. Now, I have an ancient vampire on my tail and a hot werewolf reawakening our troubled past, and I must fight not to lose myself again.

If you enjoy K.F. Breene, Shannon Mayer, Annette Marie, Jennifer Estep, and CN Crawford, then prepare to enjoy a witty heroine and her rekindling romance with the hot werewolf who broke her heart. Step into the Mate Tracker Agency and find your soulmate.

This is an upper YA/NA crossover best suited for age 16+ since steaminess increases through the course of the series.

A Magical Service to find Mates!!

Our MC is a tracker of sorts that through both her tracking a ility and potions can find the perfect Mate for People. She has a Incredibly wonderful assistant who helps her with her work and coordinate the office. They are both finan6invested in this 1 yr old company and are trying to make it flourish. Narrator does a nice job with the characters voices and the storyline.

Amazing

What an amazing story! Toni Sunder is the best tracker there is, but she’s decided to put her skills to work tracking the perfect mates, until someone from her past shows up and drags her back into using her skills to find a missing werewolf.

I loved this story & watching Toni try to navigate her life currently. The ending leaves you on the edge of your seat waiting for what’s next.

Refreshing world

I found this to be a refreshing storyline. I enjoyed learning about the portals and how all supernaturals exist in this world that the author created. There’s a few villains, which leaves you feeling not to trust anyone. I liked Toni and we certainly learn a lot about her past. I feel like several of us can connect with Toni. Overall, I really enjoyed the story and I can’t wait to see what develops next.
The narrator, Kasi Hollowell did a great job using a variety of voices and inflections. Very easy to follow along. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

amazing first book!

If you have a hard time reading past book 1 in some series. This book is for you. I was drawn in from the beginning. There were so many questions and new info that came up that I was drawn into the next book.

The narrator was awesome as well. She really added to the story! I jumped into book 2 right away!

wrong age

the narrator is good, and the storyline is, but the main character is only 20. she was homeless before meeting her friend, and they opened a business . her age is too distracting when phrases like" worked so hard for" are used. at least they should have been in their late 20's. few are so composed at any age but very unlikely at 20. I liked the story otherwise though.

book 1 in a budding new series!

Intersting premise and mystery, if not slightly confused about the romance, but I loved it enough to see where it goes and I love seeing how the hate-to-love romance will develop. I couldn't really figure out what exactly she liked about the male lead, butttt, that also has been dying for some backgroynd dets I'm hoping for in book of 2. Overall it was a pretty fun read and I feel what's coming in future books is going to be epic after the setup. The mystery entertaining, and I figured it out early ish on, but that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying the book. Oh, also there is an amazing plot twist or two at the end. It has me reaching for book 2 of the Tracker's Secret!

YA Focused

I’ve come across some YA literature that I thoroughly enjoyed. But that’s not the case here. All the dithering and young love anguish was just irritating. I continued to listen through the end because I was interested in the mystery. But I have no intention to pursue the series even though not all the questions are answered at this point. Ms. Hollowell’s voice was perfect for this type of literature. She sounded like a young adult as Toni would.

Great Story

The story held my attention from beginning to conclusion. The main characters are likable and interesting. Once I started listening, it was hard to put down. The story flowed at a good pace.

Narration is excellent and brings this story to life. I liked the way she portrayed the characters and it was easy to follow.

Tony and Jake are excellent main characters. Tony is strong and independent. She runs her own business and thought she was over her heartbreak. Jake left without giving a reason. As the story progresses, we find out what happened. The conclusion is a major cliffhanger. There are a lot of secrets that come to light but there are some that need to be explained. A bombshell was dropped without an explanation. I’m looking forward to finding out what will happen next.
