Publisher's summary

A typical day at the rehabilitation center turns into a nightmare for Emma Grady when her favorite physical-therapy patient vanishes in front of her, along with several colleagues. Fear turns to chaos as Emma begins the frantic race from Brooklyn to Queens, anxious to discover if her boyfriend is safe. Subways are closed, graves are open, and countless people have inexplicably disappeared. Mayhem erupts as terror grips the residents of New York City.

Was this a terrorist attack? An alien abduction? Or has evil been unleashed? What else could make so many vanish in a moment - not just in New York but all over the globe?

With so many people missing, Emma wonders if this is the predicted end of the world and begins a desperate search to discover the answers.

This unique book takes listeners on a riveting journey from New York City to Israel, and, in the final chapters, into the Bible, where it becomes clear that God has made known “the end from the beginning.” Through Scripture, listeners come to understand that things aren’t spiraling downward but are actually looking up.

Timely work upon the end time

I found this book to be more engaging than Left Behind by Jeffy Jenkins and Tim LeHay. The research is displayed with Afterward with extensive notes and references worthy of trained theologian. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
Usually the author narration falls flat, but she is not bad.

Eye Opener

The book makes you really think about what you would do if the end was to happen now. I learned many new things about the Bible that I had not heard before. I will be starting on my ARC of the second book and can’t wait to see what happens next.

Half of this book is a bible study

First off, my biggest gripe is stated in the title of my review. seriously half of this book is a big ol bible study. the story with the characters end, and that really bugs me. The knowledge is good, but I wanted christian fantasy, not a lecture. I feel it really takes away from the story and wish I had known before purchase. honestly id not have bought it, as i dont feel the story is worth an entire credit. but it is good, and I already bought all 3. I wont return it, ill likely just skip the lecture on my subsiquent re listens. sad, as I dont buy 3 hour books.

i do have 1 other gripe. the narrator is awesome, however did she record the audio inside a fishbowl? there is a bunch of echo and weird audio. i can tell the studio doesnt have adequate sound deadening and it drives me bonkers. but her performance is so good, ill over look that.

The story is great! If my negatives dont bug you, then youll definitely love it.

Excellent Adherence to Scripture

The author painted a very real picture of what will happen when the Rapture occurs and I really appreciated her work as the narrator

Very Good But

I love the book and agree with the timeline presented. I am surprised about the fact that the children were left here and not raptured. Until a child becomes mature enough to understand they are sinners, how can they’ve held accountable for sins they don’t even know about. I believe in the age of accountability and that it is different for each child’s but surely no child under 10 or 12 would be left behind. Thoughts?

very inspirational!!

I couldn't put this book down!! And now I want to share everywhere I go, with as many people as I can!! The only area I felt the author left me a little questioning was on the issue of homosexuality....she was very passionate about abortion and other sin; but like too many Christians, seemed hesitant to call it out! All sin is sin. I don't dislike gay people in any way as a human, just disagree with the lifestyle, because of God's word in the bible! otherwise excellent learning and teaching tool!!! can't wait for rest of series!!

Enjoyed very much

I enjoyed this book very much. Yes it’s true that churches are not talking about the coming of Jesus Christ anymore. We have forgotten that He said He would return and to be ready. He even gave us stories about His return. God forgive us for not making ready for your return by telling others. Great book! I already purchased the other one and I’m going to start reading it today. Wow one to explore worth every minute!

People had stated comments about the writer narration I really found NO issues with it. The story is a good lead into what is going to take place. Worth every dollar spent! Enjoyed this one so much that i have purchased the next one in the series. At the end of this book is a great detailed explanation of end times events that we are told would take place and all i can say about the rest is COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS we are waiting and watching! Now, onto the next book woot woot! May God Bless you in ALL that you do!
