Awesome book!
I read this book when it came out and listening to it again was just as great. The twists and turns of this story won’t let you turn it off!. Can’t wait for her other books to because audios as well.

Suspenseful, great read
This book is a fast paced book, the characters come alive throughout the pages. Twist and turns happen that are unexpected, that make you wonder and smile. The conversations about Jesus were done with finesse and charm. I recommend reading this book. Carrie Cotten, the author, did a fantastic job writing this book and Grace Woods, the narrator, did an amazing job telling the story and using different voices to fit each character. Can’t wait for the 2nd in the series to go to audio.

Narration is terrific!
The narratator made me feel like I was watching this story happen in real life. She brings so much emotion to each scene! She managed to create different voices for each of the characters in this book. Will listen to her again for sure.

✨ ALMOST GAVE IT FIVE STARS BUT I LOATHE ALL THE SOBBING✨
The book was great and I loved the leading female character (Andromeda) until, halfway through the book, the Author & Narrator turned her from a powerful supernatural government spy into a _childish_ , _*WHINY, CRY-BABY*_ . I don't know why female Authors & female Narators do that: Every time a male love interest comes into the story, they ruin it by turning the female heroin into a sniveling, _HIGHLY IRRITATING_ , _*cry-baby*_ . Come on! Is that meant to be attractive to the male love interest? Even if that's the intention, Authors & Narators need to know that it's bitterly annoying. It was so offensive and irritating to me that I almost eye-rolled myself into another dimension. To most Readers (over the age of 12), whiny weepy women are more cringe-worthy than nails across a blackboard.

Something different
I really enjoyed this listen to a storyline that was different from other Christian fiction I have read. It was very descriptive and allows the listener to get into the story and paints the pictures of what is going on in your mind as you listen. I also enjoyed the varied characters and am looking forward to the next book!
