Such a fun narration
I really enjoyed the main characters and the various adventures they went on to find Love and romance. As a soon to be silver single I find these types of stories encouraging and this one kept me laughing. I thought the ending a bit too contrived and disappointing, but I suppose she had to end up in a traditional way.

If only she hasn’t gone there
I enjoyed this story and could relate to the dating pitfalls that Tess experienced. And I do appreciate plot lines that let you know that romance and desire doesn’t end at 50! However, I really wish that so many of the plus-sized ladies were not referred to in such negative terms. I mean, did you have to say things like, “…as she waddled away.” The underlying implication is that Tess is somehow elevated above these women because she is successfully dieting. What a shame to lay such a layer of shame into the story.

Another Enjoyable One by This Author
Dee MacDonald does not disappoint. She really portrays the real thoughts going on in a sixty plus year old mind and heart. Laughed as usual, too. We need books for this age group.
