Publisher's summary

Blythe Sol has a New Year's Resolution, but it's not your typical self-improvement plan. She wants to end the conflict between the government and the Resistance once and for all - by sneaking into Washington DC and putting a bullet in President Drummond's skull. If she can cut the head off the snake, the genocide of the Bionics might finally end. But if she fails, she will surely bring retaliation crushing down upon the entire Resistance.

Blythe and fellow soldier Dax Janner are already coping with the loss of people they loved. When their dormant feelings for each other begin to rekindle, they struggle with feeling anything positive after so much suffering. The return of Gage will only confuse matters more. As the terrorist sect known as The Rejects begins to work hand in hand with the government to push the Resistance toward all-out war, the battle will be brought to their doorstep. Will the movement stand tall and conquer - or collapse under the strain and be destroyed for good?

The Revolution is the thrilling third novel in the award-winning Bionics series by Alicia Michaels.

Edge of your seat , thrill ride!

O -M-G! This book was gut wrenching. Alicia Michaels gave me what my hear desired only to rip it out, stomp on it, grind it into the dirt, and hand it back to me. I don’t think I have the words to describe the emotions The Revolution invoked in me. This installment in the Bionics series has been by far the toughest to endure. The fighting. The loss. The Revolution broke my heart. I ugly cried for two days. Sometimes in public. It was not pretty.

Without including spoilers it’s hard to really say much about the actual story. This series encompasses a variety of characters that are each multi dimensional and complex. Michaels did a phenomenal job weaving them all together into an emotionally charged, action packed, heart wrenching story. As the reader you can’t help but connect to the story on multiple levels. With my hear racing, my adrenaline pumping, and with bated breath I immersed myself into the Resistance. The feels. The love. The heartbreak. The death. It all hit me like a tidal wave. When I finished The Revolution, I had to sit alone and decompress for a bit. I needed the story to release me from its grip.

If you love a heart pounding, edge of your seat, action packed, thrill ride then look no further than the Bionics series by Alicia Michaels.

As the narrator, Marissa Clay invoked all the emotions that I felt the first time I read this story. It was just as gut wrenching the second time around thanks to her commanding voice. Clay truly brought the story alive again.

The revolution

Unlike the first two books this consentrates more on the relationship.
It's also a love triangle if you are not into this it is not for you.
You have to read the first two books to understand what is going on and get a better connection with the characters.
Looking forward to the fourth book in the series.
