I was hooked from the beginning. the chemistry is amazing and the banter is the best

Good Listen

I enjoyed this storyline and these characters. Their quirkiness and faults had a real feel to them and I really felt their struggles. The cast of characters is also a favorite of mine I love a story filled with colorful characters and this one has it. Narration is also done well and made it very entertaining.

It’s surprising that I loved this book

This isn’t my typical type of book that I read. I actually did like it a lot though. They were both pretty sassy and it was a lot of fun to get involved with the college lifestyle and having two really great people.

I loved this story.

Loved it. CJ Bloom really brings the story to life. I cant wait to listen to another of her narratives.

Slooooow Burn, but worth it

The dialogue in this book is what made this book worth a credit. Yes, during first 30% the two love interests weren’t together & it did drag on too long but still good story. Good not great, but filled the time: I think a little more about River & Ana

Great listen from a new to me author

The forbidden storyline is not always my jam, but something about this one did it for me. I loved the respect River showed for the situation. This maturity made him so appealing as the Hero in the story. I really loved the push and pull with the main characters of this story. The build was everything. Great read from a new to me author. The audio was done really well for this story. Both narrators are newer to me, but they will be on the go to list from now on.

Pretty Decent Story

I've liked every book of Ilsa Madden-Mills that I've listened to so far, they are an easy listen and they grab you early on. This one was the typical Enemies to Lovers story, the chemistry between Anastasia and River was great throughout the book, I really enjoyed River's portion of the story. Although it is supposed to be a football story there was really little about football other than it was his dream to be drafted. I have read Hockey, Soccer and Baseball stories and they have a bit more of the sport in them than this one did. But all in all a good story.

Ana and River's story is a page turner, it was entertaining and heartfelt! loved it!

Great Listen - Cute Story.

I was cheering for Anastasia and River the whole time; sorry Donovan. This story made my heart happy - narration puts you in their shoes. I shed a few tears during the listen…
But that’s probably because I’ve been emotionally unstable as of late 😂
