This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... More detailed than the movie, I have to say the better version.
If you seen the movie Powwow Highway, you will feel it lacking, The book or audiobook will fill you in on more of the thoughts and background of the characters. Don’t get me wrong the movie is rememberable as an American Indian just because we share a similar experiences from life on the reservation to the division between the traditional and Anglo world. Do prepare for more sexual material and crime though. The book was good, the narrator was great, good to have a better idea what the author was going for.
