pretty good story

a little lonf winded but lots of twist and turns and I thoroughly enjoyed books 1&2. cant wait to finish the series. To see how it ends.

Wow!

Holy Cliffhanger at the end of book 1, and now the end of this 2 book pack!! Cant wait to start the next one!! Not a huge fan of the male narrator, reminds me more of a dad voice than a sexy one, but he does an ok job. This was a fantastic free book and i will definitely but the next set!

Great Narrators

Good story, interesting twists & turns.

Maggie’s many issues.

Maggie seems to be very weak and whiny one moment, insecure and unsure. Next, she is jumping right into the big adventure then questioning every decision made on this journey.Alternately insecure and scared, next bossy and angry. She can’t commit.

Bana-good or bad- forgot I already lessened

forgot I already lessened to this series about 5 months ago. It wasn't until I was in chapter 6 or so, I realized it sounded familiar. when I checked the bookmarks. There is the evidence. Is that a bad sign about how good a book is? I enjoyed it both times IT's a good storyline just not that rememberable,

Voices mess this story up for me

I don’t care for a female talking like a male and the male speaking not his part and then talking like a female to me this takes away from the story and makes it fake. At one point close to the end Max sounded like the lady drug dealers voice!!!

Twisty but too slow paced

When I started the book, I didn’t realize that it’s a six book series. The story was a little too slow and wordy. Luckily the unexpected twist happened right where I was going to dnf the book every time to keep me going. I put the audiobook on as background while I craft and I was not excited to listen to it. I don’t think I’ll continue on with the series.

Rock Engle and Helen Wick’s performance were great.

This one is addictive!!

I'm an avid reader and feel like it's difficult to impress or surprise me, but this one definitely kept my attention. It has the perfect mixture of present tense storytelling with peeks into the past and foreshadowing. It leaves mystery while maintaining a steady pace and the attention to detail makes it so easy to picture everything you're hearing. I think the narrators also do an excellent job. I can't wait to start the sequel!

Fun like a true crime story

I wasn’t expecting this story to be as entertaining as it was! Right from the beginning you are thrown into the chaos of Isobel and Tyler’s life! Good pacing and twist and turns. I hope the second volume joins the AP library soon so I can finish the story
