Story
Living with humans is messy. Our children make messes. Our spouses and friends make messes. So do our coworkers, bosses, pastors, and presidents...and so do we. Messes are scary, painful, and offensive. And whether we're dealing with the pain of a personal failure, the frustration of a disrespectful child, the devastation of a major betrayal, the stress of a workplace conflict, or the fallout of larger social injustices, classically we react the same way - with fear, shame, and punishment.

Story
The Culture of Honor is a book of reformation. It is intended to disrupt our current model of authority. Jesus put it like this in Matthew 20:25-26: "But Jesus called them to Himself and said, You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. Those with power must learn to empower those around them or we will never build Heaven on the Earth."

Loving Our Kids on Purpose combines the principles of the Kingdom of God and revival to form a powerful strategy for parents. Rather than the traditional approaches that train children to learn to accept being controlled by well-meaning parents and adults, this book teaches parents how to train children to manage their freedoms and protect their important heart-to-heart relationships. Children were designed with the core need of freedom. To deny this or live ignorant of it eventually destroys the trust connection between parent and child.

Business is all about relationships, and every day at work presents us with a choice: Will we fight for fear-free connections with our team members, employees, vendors, and customers for the sake of our mutual success? Or will we default into self-protection and self-serving and participate in a relational culture of disconnection? This is the choice between honor and dishonor, and it flows from our hearts and our core beliefs about people. In The Business of Honor, Bob Hasson and Danny Silk lay out a pathway for living with a heart of honor in business, from receiving your identity to investing in healthy relationships and taking the lead in building honoring culture in your company or organization.

This book will teach you how to battle your spiritual struggles from the winning side so that you can be victorious both in your life and in the issues happening in today’s world. Many Christians limp through their lives feeling beat up by the enemy, their circumstances, and internal strife. They look at the pattern of world events with a sense of hopelessness. Too often they simply accept these as the natural trials and challenges of life. However, other Christians acknowledge that there is a war happening, a battle between angels and demons.

In How to Lead When You're Not in Charge, author and pastor Clay Scroggins explains the nature of leadership and what's needed to be a great leader - even when you answer to someone else.

Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

The secret to happiness is to acknowledge and transform suffering, not to run away from it. Here, Thich Nhat Hanh offers practices and inspiration transforming suffering and finding true joy. Thich Nhat Hanh acknowledges that because suffering can feel so bad, we try to run away from it or cover it up by consuming. We find something to eat or turn on the television. But unless we’re able to face our suffering, we can’t be present and available to life, and happiness will continue to elude us.

Heart Intensive, Growth Motivated Book!
We did this book as a Church training class. From the moment I started it I was captivated. It's as if my life interactions were being told. The activations at the end of each chapter have challenged my growth in Christ. I hear Him better, quicker, and my heart motives have been revealed. This book has brought much healing ti my heart and it has strengthened my relationships.

Helpful and insightful
This book is practical and empowering. I love how the author shares her own stories of failure and growth. It helps us see that we can learn and grow into who we are meant to be in Christ. This is the lions of book I will read multiple times because it’s got many practical tools and strategies to lead yourself and others.

Finally my story out loud-
Thank you for having the courage to say the things we couldn’t say, but in a way that gives hope to believe in healthy leadership.
I felt immediately connected to your frustration and desire for what we were promised. .
I don’t mind that you are reading your story in your own voice. You sound real and don’t need to be “polished”
I no longer have an excuse to stay isolated from seeking peers in ministry- (I can’t say that I will rush back to church or lead one again) HA! maybe a conference or two)
After listening to the first chapter, I immediately sent it to my husband and we devoured it and sent it to others. We will apply this to our marriage.
Your organizational format gives me confidence to build my little company with a Kingdom mindset with less worry that I’m going to destroy everyone in my life and end up alone again.
I’m so grateful you voiced a healthy path and vision for what I’ve been craving.
Your descriptions expose but give honor to the people.
Your measurable, detailed, applicable solutions, are clear evidence of hard work, deep digging and rewarded faith.
What a testimony to real experience that isn’t just fluff and another “great idea” to sell to the Christian community.

Excellent content painful narration voice.
Buy the typed out book not the audio. There is a reason why professional reading actors exist. The actor has awful mixed accents and intonation. Suffered thru it because the content is so good.
