After discovering a savagely beaten young boy chained to the barn ceiling in handcuffs and leg shackles, as well as five other children locked in dog kennel-sized cages in the barn's loft, Dee-Dee and her husband, David, risk their lives to remove the injured boy from the property and to save the lives of the five other children who are in extreme danger of becoming the Tibbetts' next victims, because Earl and Maylene come to realize the Blanchards are onto their devious and evil crimes against children. And they will do whatever they feel is necessary to prevent their atrocities from being made public - even if it includes committing more murders.
