A great read.

The author gave me a lesson to remember for the ages. I believe that these surprisingly simple concepts can really help readers deal with any compulsive behavior towards food.

The Mindful Eating Bible!

This book was an eye-opening one. It really helped me cope with my emotional eating habits with simply applying the concepts of mindful eating. Not only was I more satisfied after every meal, but it also changed my unhealthy relationship with food. I really thank the author for this.

Helped me control my appetite.

I’ve been known to be a big eater my whole life, and this book has absolutely helped me reduce my craving after every meal. Overall, I’d highly recommend it.

Choose nutritious foods!

This chapter made me realize why I was feeling hungry all the time. Food selection and mindful eating is a powerful method to staying in a healthy and leaner diet.

I can't finish this

I sat through about 2/3rds of this, and can't finish. There are just too many cliches, and restatements of the obvious. There are so many ways to say things, to have something like "Rome wasn't built in a day", just seemed lazy. Granted, it is less than 4 hours, but topics are so superficially delved into, that if you needed a little help, what was given wasn't much, and if you needed a lot of help, I think it failed miserably. SO not worth my money!
The woman who reads the audio book has wonderful diction. I applaud the enunciation of consonants, which is refreshing. However, somewhere along the way, I picked up on the fact she reads words that end in "ing" most often sounding like they ended with "ink". Once I picked up on it, I couldn't un hear it and it ruined it. I will also say the sexy voice delivery was annoying.
I am not one who leaves reviews often, but this is more to get it off my chest. I just can't listen to the last 53 minutes.

Hard to get through

The narrator is so monotone that it is very difficult to get through this book. Some of the information is relevant but it’s delivered in such a way that it is boring and not interesting.
