Publisher's summary

The Lion: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience! *

In this eagerly awaited follow-up to The Lion's Game, John Corey, former NYPD Homicide detective and special agent for the Anti-Terrorist Task Force, is back. And, unfortunately for Corey, so is Asad Khalil, the notorious Libyan terrorist otherwise known as "The Lion." Last we heard from him, Khali had claimed to be defecting to the US only to unleash the most horrific reign of terrorism ever to occur on American soil. While Corey and his partner, FBI agent Kate Mayfield, chased him across the country, Khalil methodically eliminated his victims one by one and then disappeared without a trace.

Now, years later, Khalil has returned to America to make good on his threats and take care of unfinished business. "The Lion" is a killing machine once again loose in America with a mission of revenge, and John Corey will stop at nothing to achieve his own goal—to find and kill Khahil.

*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

Nelson DeMille is my favorite author. I absolutely love his snarky humor. And Scott Brick is my favorite reader. If Scott Rea

I f Scott Brick reads it, I will be listen to it. His skills have dramatically improved improved over the past 15+years. If this is your first DeMille listen, I encourage you to find and listen to THE GOLD COAST one of his earlier novels which is perhaps my very B favorite. Lots of sexand passion.

5 Days to listen to 15+ hours

I could not stop listening. I started on a Monday and finished on Friday. I listened on the way to work, then put my headphones on once I got out of my car and listened as I walked into the office. I listened while I worked. I listened while I cooked dinner and even missed out on some of my favorite TV shows, because I could not put this book down, it was that good and kept me on the edge of my seat. I absolutely love Scott Brick as a narrator he has a wonderful voice. DeMille's descriptions of torture are not for the faint of heart, they come in great detail. Excellent book.

Too far fetched

After listening to the first four books, this one leaves me disappointed…after 9/11, Muslim terrorist not only knows where to find every person but also knows the hobbies of the agents & takes them while parachuting? Cmon!
Typical…genius for most of book then of course hero comes back to kill said genius- this guy has killed hundreds and yet he makes it back to the states for revenge? Far fetched indeed!
