Shocking ending!
Fantastic story! Characters were either likable or completely hated. Narration was spot on! This author really knows how to string a lot of parts together to make things easy to follow.

A thrill at every turn.
I really like this book. It kept me engaged throughout the whole story. It had so many nefarious characters in it. It really kept you on the edge of your seat. The only thing that I would wish for is for the main character to be a little tougher, a little more kick ass. One of the things I thought was kind of cool is a lot of this story took place around here where I live. Hearing about Longview, Kelso and Astoria was great because I live around those places. I wholeheartedly recommend this book and hope to read more by this author.

Kevin O’Brien has done it again!

Good sleuthing mystery
This book seemed to have more investigating than some of the authors others. I appreciated that main character could find info and follow a trail. There was less "out of the blue", didn't fully seem to fit, happenings.

The design of O'Brien's stories is perfect.
I love the way this author weaves his stories, the different layers and twists and turns of the mystery. I have loved every single one of Kevin O'Brien's books so far and am always excited to read another!
