What a great theory!

Kevin O'Brien has a unique and interesting way of psychologically terrorizing listeners and his characters. His writing may be too long for some, but to get the plot and backstory into play, it is necessary. He is my new favorite author! I've listened to this book in one day - it was that good!

Great book

This was a great story,the narrative and narrator were great! My only complaint was that for me there were too many characters to keep up with. Lol, it didn't detract from the story, it only made it difficult for me.

Twisty and intense

I like the complexity of this authors stories. The twists and turns leave you guessing.

O'Brien does it again!

I discovered Kevin O based on an audible suggestion and I'm glad I took a chance.
In this book, I was a little concerned with the female lead near chapter 30 as she seemed to be so smart but couldn't figure out what was obvious to me but in the end, all was as it should have been. I will pick up his other books.

Best read to date!

Loved the characters, loved the storyline. He can get a little ridiculous and cheesy at times with the love story aspect on some of his books; however this one he stuck to the premise and kept it enthralling until the very end. Definite favorite of mine.

Another great listen by O’Brien

O’Brien weaves a great story! I actually want to go back and listen again to put all the pieces together! I know some think his stories are long, but I would argue that all that time spent on the details is relevant to the story, unlike some other authors. I will continue to listen to books by O’Brien!

Unexpectedly good

Got this on a whim not thinking it would be more than background noise for my dog walks or housecleaning.. However, this is one of the best audio books I’ve listened to in a good while.. I was really surprised how much I got into it.. the narrator’s voice for some characters was a little on the weak side.. but it wasn’t awful, and after a minute.. I forgot my first wincing impression of them.. all in all I was VERY happy I stumbled on this book!
