It's Not About Money

This is a book about abundance. I think he used the word "Money" to get your attention, plus The Illusion of Abundance is all woo-wwo, mamby pamby stuff that would turn off some people.

Abundance can be anything: Better relationships, loving your job, making a commitment to go to the park once a week, and, yes, money if that is your ultimate desire.

Kyle moves the head junk that is all consumed with money and gets right to the source of why you want money. We have this illusion that money will bring abundance, which ultimate pads our bank accounts to apply only a perceived level of comfort. Money buys cool things and experiences, but it also can be all consuming. Lord knows we are seeing quite a bit of this lately. I found the main theme for me is have an abundant mindset which will allow me to have that better relationship, love my job more or maybe even leave it, and also tells me that a couple hours at the park or at the library with my kids gives me an appreciation of why I am alive.

I read/listen to many of self help books and lots of them have become shelf help. But as with any book, what works for me may not resonate with you. I found that Kyle resonates with me. Hope he does for you too.

I'm getting ready to listen to this again front to back (per Kyle's suggestion) and this time I'm going to take the time to do the exercises! I listen as I drive most times and the Highway Patrol frown on my writing lists while I drive. I should probably just get the hard copy. It will take me a while to make this ride complete, as my quite time at home is sparse, but anything worth while can't be rushed.

Nice work Kyle, Maybe one day we will meet in person and some more of your energy will rub off on me. Now, go write your next book!

Kyle completely gets it. The programming we must undo from birth and our parents, and their parents, and so on....is exhausting! Yet, Kyle has found a way to explain evolving consciousness and self worth through his comedic lens.a must read on your self love journey!
