Publisher's summary

From the gutters of London, magic will rise . . .

After her narrow escape at the burning of Bedlam, Eliza Braxton's world has been turned upside down. The Illustratum's hold on the Riftborn is slipping, but so is Eliza's fragile hold on who she is. She is left facing a terrifying choice; continue her role as spy in the powerful Hallewell household, or join in open rebellion against the Illustratum. All her life, Eliza has been cautious, but now that her eyes are open, it is clear that the time has come to throw caution to the wind and embrace the power that has kept her repressed since childhood.

The Illustratum must fall.

The Riftborn must rise.

But at what cost?

The Girl at the Heart of the Storm is the thrilling conclusion to the Riftmagic Saga from master storyteller E. E. Holmes.

excellent conclusion to a wonderful series

Met all expectations. The writing is superb, the story intricate but enticing. The narrator is not my favorite but improved weigh each book.

Terrible Narrator

I am absolutely loving this series! I read the first two books quickly on my Kindle and decided to listen to the third to get some chores done :) The narrator has a strange speech pattern where she puts a "th" sound at the end of random words. No matter the word, almost every sentence ends with a "th" sound. It is so bizarre and distracting that it was impossible for me to follow the story. I had to stop listening after about 20 pages.

Perfect Ending

Love, love this third installment of this series. It is the perfect ending to the series. I have gotten lost in the world that EE Holmes created in these books. Mary Sarah brought all of the characters to life and perfectly set them in the each scene of the book. I am so sad that it is over. I felt this way with her previous series too. She has become one of my favorite authors!

Beautifully Written and Read

This entire series was so beautifully written. The storyline is provocative. The reading by Mary Sarah is so very smooth and enjoyable. I’ll be looking for more books by this author and more books read by this reader.

Loved the series

I wasn’t fond of the reader at first. But through each book she got better and a I couldn’t imagine anyone else’s voice doing the characters. It was brilliantly written. I could see everything and every character. I was torn between wanting to listen to the whole book at once and not wanting the story to end.

So sad this series is over!

I enjoyed this entire series so much and I’m sad it’s over. I really hope this one becomes a movie! The conclusion of this book and series was one that left me very satisfied. I had closure, which I feel is so important in a novel of this type. Definitely recommend this book and series!

Great third book in the series.

I enjoyed this third book as much if not more than the first two. They were an easy and interesting story of twist and turns, hopes and shockers.
