Story
Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson. Before they were household names, these budding legends called Sue’s Nashville apartment—lovingly dubbed the “Boar’s Nest”—home. Sue’s place was an intimate staging ground where a new breed of singer-songwriters—wounded souls, wayward upstarts—would spur each other on to tap into something bigger, realer.

Story
In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

Not your typical haunted house story
I've read a lot of haunted house books, but nothing like this! What a twist!

Intriguing
I'm sitting here still stunned by what I've just listened to! At first I thought it was dreadful what was happening , but the more I thought about it
I felt it was a pretty good option IF it were by choice. Evil genius and his minions at work! Lol. That Benson was certainly loyal to a fault. All in all I enjoyed this walk on the creepy side. Try it. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

Eddie notices many weird occurrences, and soon finds out that Dr. Albright is a mad scientist. Chaos ensues.

Fabulous!
I was less than 20 minutes in, and I knew I was going to love this book. Great intrigue, the right amount of spooky, and I love the ending. There was even a portion that made me think of Stephen King. Yeah, this is good stuff.

Eerie and Hauntingly Delightful!
When unwise decisions put Eddie on the outs with Steph, he meets a stranger in the park … and makes yet another one! Eerie and hauntingly delightful, “The Ghosts of Harcourt Grange” is perfect! Every element I want, I NEED for the perfect ghost story is there! I found the story riveting, the flow smooth with no lagging, the mystique plentiful, and answers provided at the perfect pace! Also, having faced a brain related medical crisis in the not too distant past, I confess to feeling a sense of “there but for the grace of all that’s holy, or not, go I”! At times this story scared the wits out of me, it’s that well researched, but since I’m here to listen, it’s all good! 😊 The characters are fabulously detailed and beautifully developed. I really felt for Eddie, the main character. I felt his fear, his horror as he began to realize what was really going on at Harcourt Grange, and his sense of hopelessness and despair. I also felt his resolve to do anything, everything to bring about a resolution, no matter the cost to him! The growth in his character throughout this beautifully written, horrifically haunting story was profound! His character was not the only one that experienced profound growth, but identifying the others would be playing spoiler, and far be it from me to do that! As you listen you’ll have no trouble picking them out! Eddie and all of these beautifully crafted characters were vibrantly brought to life by smooth, clear, consistent narration that painted a moving picture of the authors vision in my mind as I listened. I truly enjoyed this five star ghostly presentation!

This book was different than most ghost stories. I really enjoyed it! The character development is good and the story is interesting. The performance kept me engaged. I listened to it in the car and it made my commute go by quicker. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Ghostly Whispers and Creepers
The Ghosts of Harcourt Grange was definitely more original than I expected a real walk into the twilight zone. The storyline was original, intense, intriguing, and full of creepy suspense. I knew right away that this book was going to be phenomenal and entertaining. No spoilers here, but I will say this what you believe may not be what actually is. The narrator did a phenomenal job bringing the story alive with the many voices of the characters he truly gave them life no pun intended. I received this book for free upon my request. The review that I leave here is honest and unbiased, totally voluntary. I highly recommend this book if you love different types of horror stories.

What a ride!!
The only complaint I have about this book is it was too short. Just a great listen from beginning to end. A very good horror novella.
