Smashing continuation of The GFL!!

What an excellent narration and acting, amazing continuation of The GFL and QB!!!! An absolute smash as we pick up right where The Champion left off. Quinten finds out he won't be fixable, leading to an epic showdown with Gredok! Gredok sets QB up to be tortured and QB has an unexpected hero! Fully recommend this book and all in the series, another massive Galaxy Bowl Touchdown by Scott Sigler and company!

Another fantastic entry to the GFL Series

The narrative flows fast and punches above its weight. As an avid Scott Sigler reader, the little gems that Scott has sprinkled throughout The Gangster has me anxiously awaiting the next Siglerverse tale to find more connections.

This book takes place in the off season, so no on-field action, but there's plenty of that in the prior books, so we'll just have to see what happens next once GFL VII comes out. What this book does have instead, is resolve a lot of existing plotlines, and then smack you in the face with even bigger ones. It's at the point where I can't even talk about it without spilling spoilers, that's how crammed full of plot this book is.

Long story short, if you enjoyed the GFL so far to any degree, this book is a must have.

The Best Yet

As this series progresses the universe that the books take place in expands exponentially. Keeping track of those threads and tying them together is difficult at best. Sigler does it.

Sigler is continuing his winning streak with this installment of the GFL series. We get new surprises and new questions in new ways.

The best of GFL series.don't miss it

Scott Sigler does It again..and better than ever. I've followed this series from the beginning and it just gets better. This one was the icing on the cake. Great story,, characters, humour in a world that could exist and mirrors our own in the evil or goodness that lives in the hearta of all sentiment beings. Scott Sigler's work just gets better and better. I recommend starting the series from the very first one for maximum enjoyed. Thank Scott for a great ride.

Part one of a longer book?

It was great to be back with Quentin. Now this book doesn’t follow the other GFL books format with one book taking you through full tier one season. Actually, there is very little football in here, which is kind of sad. There is a lot of action and Quentin finds himself in all sorts of trouble. No spoilers but a lot of changes in the Krakens organization, on the field and off. There was a bit too much sappy love scenes with Becca and Quentin professing their undying love for each other.
We know that Scott thought he might be able to finish the series with book six so this feels like a Book Six Part One to me.
The Abernessia are still rumored to be one the way and Quentin still doesn’t think he should have anything to do with it. We will see when book seven comes out.

This series just keeps getting better!

No spoilers, but a LOT of loose ends get connected in this book. And in VERY satisfying ways. The continuity across the authors books and within his universe is startling! You will enjoy the story on its own, but you’ll get much more out of it if you also read his other works. I think this is the best yet, and I eagerly await what he writes next.

Another wonderful book from Scott Sigler!

I have read a lot of science fiction in my time but since I have read my first Scott Sigler book, Earth Core, I have been hooked. I started the GFL series many years ago because I read all of Scott's other books (mostly audio) and wanted to read more. I did not expect to like this series because I am not a big football fan. I was so wrong! The GFL series is so much more than a story about football. It is so captivating. I just love every minute of every story! The Gangster is an absolute smash hit continuation of the series! The only problem now is I have to wait for the next book!!

Thanks Scott
Ken
