Top tier! Once again!

I actually started listening to these books from MHNYC and went backwards. But note I’m hoping we get more of everyone in the future!

Jeff Hays is such a good narrator.

I can't get enough of Jeff Hay's voice. The variety of characters he is able to portray is astounding.

Cyberpunk Noire LitRPG Rollercoaster pt. 2

I had such a good time listening to The Feedback Loop volume one, that I jumped right in for volume two. And it did not disappoint. The first-person perspective and relentless barrage of jazz-age noire vernacular were right up my alley. This is not for the kids. It's gritty, but a ton of fun, Packed with references, but not in a Ready Player One kind of way. This is more like constant similes to (sometimes) obscure cultural references. The story is full of action, too, so there's a lot to parse, all the time. I was constantly stimulated. Great fun, and Jeff Hays nails the whole thing.

Finally the entire series in audio format!

I have read and listened to this series multiple time…well no, while I’ve read the series multiple times until now I haven’t been able to listen to the entire series, because until now only the first 6 books of the series were available in audio format, but now the entire series is available! That’s right the entire Feedback Loop, Quantum Hughes’ epic saga is now available! This series was one of my first introductions the litRPG genre. It starts out with Quantum being trapped in a digital world (one that reminded me of John Wick given the violent nature the world) with the day repeating over and over, (Yes, think Groundhog Day only a way more action.) but it’s not long before the scope of the story expands well beyond this one digital world, taking us back into the real world as well as other digital worlds. It features a fantastic story, tons of insane action, and Quantum is easily one of my favorite characters. As for the Jeff Hayes’ narration…if you’ve never heard any of Jeff’s work you are in for a treat. Jeff Hayes is the Mel Blanc of audiobooks. He gives each character their own unique voice to the point you’d swear there must have been a dozen different people in the recording studio. For a truly wild adventure I can’t recommend this series enough. Grab both Volumes of the Feedback Loop, you won't be sorry.

Never-ending brilliance

If you don't like clever alliteration mixed with lots of obscure pop-culture references, you probably won't like this.

Also, you'd be better going to Volume 1. The first four books have a more coherent arc and storyline. Volume 2 is more disconnected. But each part is fairly good. The fight scenes are inventive and fun.
Every few minutes, there's another brilliant piece of fun wordplay.

For a mix of poetic pop-culture, artful alliteration and constant combat carnage, this is the best book since The Iliad.
