Whose idea was it?

Story is great! But whose idea was it to add the music and the sound effects. This book is well written, it does not need all of that. They were distracting and not appropriate to the particuliar scenes.

excellent book horrible narration

I had read this book in 2015 so I thought it would be great to revisit it on audible that was a big mistake
this book is excellent it's a great story I love everything from this author but the narration of this book is absolutely horrendous if you're thinking about buying this on audible just be aware of that fact I can hardly even get past chapter 3, the guy who reads this his voice is so cringy and over the top dramatic it's like he's reading to a group of four year olds it's definitely not what I expected from Dr Michael Heiser

The Facade story was great.

I koved it , but some paragraphs were omitted. I always listen and follow along with the book.

AMAZING! This exceeded all of my expectations!

1) The auditory performance and sound effects really brought this book to life. Well done!
2) I've read and appreciated Dr. Heiser's work for years. This "story" made everything easier to digest and remember, due to the compelling storytelling and emotional responses I had.
3) I'll be moving promptly to the next book in the series

this story is original riveting and told very well. I love the blend of fact and fiction and furthermore all of the characters are completely believable.

Loved it!

Great book. I love Michael Heiser’s teaching and he weaved a lot of truths within this book. The narrator for audio version did a fabulous job.

terrible naration

I enjoyed the story line, however the narrator just butchered the story. Its better to just read the book.

Great story

Great, intriguing story. However, the music and sound effects didn’t quite fit for me. I would have preferred to listen without those.

Michael Heiser is amazing. I didn't want it to end

the narration is pretty good. he is thematic and puts emphasis on characters, it could have been better though, and done after the voice and tone of Michael Heiser's dry wit and polite sarcasm that he delivers in charming ways. i actually could hear Heiser's wit in some of the characters, but the narrator made it sound smarmy and abrasive whereas Heiser is a bit more subtle and deadpan and you can tell that is the way he meant for it to be read. regardless of that this is pretty good. I'm definitely going to reread physical book with Heiser's dryness in my head. An overall good audible book.
