Satisfying end to the series
I’ll start by saying this was my least favorite of the DD Jenna Morgan series. I like to be kept guessing and the suspense just wasn’t there. However, it’s well written and wonderfully narrated. The author builds her characters up well. While it wasn’t the best of the 4, I’d still recommend the whole series!

Can’t get enough of DS Morgan!
I’ve been hooked since the first book. Ms. Saxon mixes in enough personal lives of her detectives into a suspenseful story to keep the reader guessing, while routing for our favorite couples and their progress. The characters are so human and flawed and relatable that you can imagine hanging out with them and get a quick cuddle in with Domino while you’re there. I can’t wait for the next book.

as much as I love this author and her books, in this story it was a little difficult waiting for the main characters to catch up to what became so obvious to the listener. This author does have a way with words and descriptive detail. That makes the stories easy to read and/or listen to and enjoy.

Decent story but not as good as the others
narration as always in this series was wonderful.
the story however was less about Jenna Morgan than I liked.
I felt as though the author became lost in the twist, too eager to create an interesting idea, which I found somewhat predictable. I knew early on what was happening, any avid reader might pick up on it too. The story itself might have been good with or without Jenna, I felt she just became another character instead of the main one with 3 prior books to go on. it wasn't a heartstopper at all, unlike the very first one which had me listening non stop.
although this was still a good story, and listened all the way though it was my least favorite in the series.
it's worth a listen, but sorry to say wait for it to be free instead of using a credit.
I hope if there is another it has more shock and excitement than this one had.
To the authors credit, I will be watching out for more books from her, it has not turned me off in any way.
