Publisher's summary

The dazzling finale to the groundbreaking, New York Times bestselling Gilded Ones series. One girl holds the power to defeat the gods—but can she become one?

Mere weeks after confronting the Gilded Ones—the false beings she once believed to be her family—Deka is on the hunt. In order to kill the gods, whose ravenous competition for power is bleeding Otera dry, she must uncover the source of her divinity. But with her mortal body on the verge of ruin, Deka is running out of time—to save herself and an empire that’s tearing itself apart at its seams.

When Deka’s search leads her and her friends to the edge of the world as they know it, they discover an astonishing new realm, one which holds the key to Deka’s past. Yet it also illuminates a devastating decision she must soon make…

Choose to be reborn as a god, losing everyone she loves in the process. Or bring about the end of the world.

* This audiobook edition includes a downloadable PDF that contains an illustration of a map of OTERA, from the printed book.

A Phenomenal End to an Epic

I’ve picked up every book as soon as it dropped. This conclusion was beautiful. Like, Narnia level beautiful and satisfying and each character is SO DIFFERENT and deeply satisfying to read on. I can’t wait to re-read it. Dekah as an overwhelmingly infinite character. Philosophy + personality. I can’t wait to re-listen to the series.

So Satisfying

I'm glad that the series concluded the way it did. The nods to spirituality and the idea that we are all interconnected in the grand scheme of things were genuinely inspiring.

A Soul Engulfing Series

I listened to all 3 books, unable to steal myself away... at times unable to separate the world of Otera from my own reality, and find myself wishing for a 4th in the end.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Bravo, Namina

This series has been the best and I’m glad that had the pleasure of taking part in reading it! The characters, storyline, action packed wars and ending just chefs kiss. I’m so at loss of words I can’t even give an efficient review. I’ll just say go and read all three books.

A perfect trilogy

The characters are well rounded and deeply emotional and feel as if I could meet them out and about. Yet their trials and the epic scope of this take are mind blowing. I loved this series so much!!!!

Beautifully done

I loved this series. It’s rare that the third book is equally as good as the first. This book did not disappoint.

Better than book 2

Still doesn’t pack quite the same punch as book one. However, I do love reframing the purpose of gods in the book 2 &3 as entities that serve rather than ones that are worshipped. Many secondary characters
