Thr First Catechism

This brought so much clarity to the thought process of the people of the time this was written.

If Christians lived this out everyday, we could change the world.

Jesus started one church.

The church that Jesus started is the Catholic Church. If we steep ourselves in history, we cease to be protestant. The 12 apostles and the early church fathers who they taught were all Catholic.
The Catholic Church can be traced back all the way to Jesus himself. Yes, it is made up of simple people, but it is still the church that Jesus Christ gave us on earth. It is guided by the Holy Spirit. That is the only reason that it is still standing, and it will be standing at the end of time , the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Jesus made a promise, and he will not break his promise.
I’m going to listen to this audio version of the Didache over and over again.

Thank you!

Informative!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the narration of the Didache. It strengthened my understanding of the Bible in several areas, and explains how to improve your righteousness. A blessing for those who embrace ancient biblical writings.

I'm kind of upset that this isn't in the Bible, I can listen to this everyday 😇

Brilliant analysis and commentary

Amazing book that is one of the oldest and most informative books on Christian polity, and so simple, if the Body of Messiah embraced this for the past 1800 years the Body of Messiah would be strong and impactful

Good material

Some odd pronunciation was slightly distracting. “Daily bread” sounded like “dally” and “ 1 Timothy “ which I understand to be First Timothy, as in the first letter to Timothy, was read “One Timothy “ .

Still Relevant!

A good narrator for the teachings from the Apostles. It will offend those who are more dedicated to dogma than the Scriptures and others who are "progressive." follow the Bible and hold fast to the saving grace of Christ's sacrifice on the cross and his resurrection that paid for our sins wholly for all time.
