Publisher's summary

The fate of peculiardom hangs in the balance in this epic conclusion to the number-one best-selling Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series.

The last thing Jacob Portman saw before the world went dark was a terrible, familiar face.

Suddenly, he and Noor are back in the place where everything began - his grandfather’s house. Jacob doesn’t know how they escaped from V’s loop to find themselves in Florida. But he does know one thing for certain: Caul has returned.

After a narrow getaway from a blood-thirsty hollow, Jacob and Noor reunite with Miss Peregrine and the peculiar children in Devil’s Acre. The Acre is being plagued by desolations - weather fronts of ash and blood and bone - a terrible portent of Caul’s amassing army.

Risen from the Library of Souls and more powerful than ever, Caul and his apocalyptic agenda seem unstoppable. Only one hope remains - deliver Noor to the meeting place of the seven prophesied ones. If they can decipher its secret location.

Jacob and his friends will face deadly enemies and race through history’s most dangerous loops in this thrilling pause-resister, the final adventure in the beloved Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series.

Well done! This book did not disappoint! I just wish the PDF's were attached! I'm sad to see the story come to an end, but loved how it did!

10/10 amazing wished for the pdf

I have loved listening to this series and I wish it would never end! I loved following Jacob Portman’s journey with peculiarity. The tense moods and romantic outbreaks make you feel as if your in the story. I loved picturing what was going on. All I wish for is the pdf and movies to go along with the other 5 books! 10/10 recommend if you liked the first five!

Just Ok

I really enjoyed the first three in the series Mrs. Peregrine, but the last three were just ok.

I lost some parts of the story and at some points, I was not sure if the author was going in a completely different direction then when the book started.

I also was having trouble with the narrative. Kirby did great with all the voices and different accents, that was not my problem. I had issue with the story telling. The “breathy” cadence was an odd choice and then fluctuations for important events or action sequences was all off. I may need to go back and listen to the first book but I don’t remember the story sounding off.

Overall, I felt this was a miss on a few points. Maybe a story better read then listened too.

Excellent Performance

This book is a little too dreary for my liking - endless battle scenarios and little character development. But Kirby Heyborne is amazing.

Beautifully written

I’ve been with this series since the first release and I will say I am a sucker for happy endings. Seeing Jacob reach for success while being reminded of the seed that was planted from the beginning. Like the fall everything leads back to the roots where the strong foundation lies. Creating a beautiful story of adventures, exploration, love, hate, friendship, community, and most importantly staying true to yourself. Couldn’t get much better than that; not having anything get in your way nor a hollowgast or a wight can stop you from being your authentic self with the ones you love.

Powerful!

Other than the Harry Potter series this is the only other series I can sit down and read hours at a time. I'm sad this is the last one but, I've loved the journey of reading them over the years. Not only was the story line brilliant but so was the narrator voices of each characters(Especially Miss. P and Bronwyn) . I do wish we had the PDF so we can see the photos but other than that I give this book/book series 1000000 out of 10. Highly Recommend.
