Dragons, Biker gangs, vampires, and a detective.
Heart of a Dragon: Two dragon-powered biker gangs go at each other. Donovan DeChance is sort of pulled in as an auxiliary character. From the blurb "Donovan DeChance is a collector of ancient manuscripts and books, a practicing mage, and a private investigator." -- but most of the fury and action is the gang fighting each other, with all sorts of blood and gore happening before anyone is properly established.
Vintage Soul: The title refers to an elder vampiress who is kidnapped. Donovan DeChance is brought in to find her. This story has more development and less fury, which worked better for me. A fairly good supernatural whodunit.
My Soul to Keep: The whole audiobook would have been better with this Origin story as the first story. Old west. Part of the story introduces his familiar Cleo.
Kali's Tale: This book follows Vintage Soul (but not in the audiobook order). This is the best of the book with the best mystery. Kali, in this tale, is a young vampire that wants revenge for being killed.
These books cross over with the seven books of the O.C.L.T. Supernatural Thrillers.
Expect a harsh start that eventually improves.
