Publisher's summary

Emma Grady has seen civilization collapse and New York gutted by nuclear attack. Amidst this international crisis, she and her growing family of outcasts must unravel the meaning of these strange and horrifying events, even as they struggle to survive.

On the other side of the world, Zerah Adler finds Israel surrounded by invaders intent on total annihilation. In Jerusalem, two men have the power to stop the rain and call down plagues of every kind. Are they sorcerers, or do they have the power of God? And a magnetic new leader has emerged, promising to provide peace and even salvation to the globe.

In this gripping follow-up to The Time of Jacob’s Trouble, best-selling author Donna VanLiere explores the end times through the journeys of Emma, Zerah, and others who face unprecedented danger. In the final chapters, you’ll discover what God’s Word says about our world’s future and yours - and realize that things aren’t spiraling downward but are actually looking up!

Rapture vs Greater Exodus

I really appreciate it when an author narrates their own work, especially because they know what timing, emphasis and intentions they had for the meanings of everything written.

Now as to the story...it's CLEAR that you believe in the pre-trib rapture because every chapter spoke of the "disappearances" at least 2-5x, often back2back. I totally respect your study ethic, but would like you to consider a few things, because it's evident that when the Rapture doesn't happen in the time frame so often taught, that many people will entirely give up their faith in YaHshua. This happens every single time some so-called pastor/prophet claims a certain day will be "the Day!" I really wish more people knew about OCT22, 1844 THE GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT!! Wouldn't want to see that happen to anyone else, but unfortunately we have, waaaaay too often!

Everyone who does speak of the End Times speaks of Matt24, yet seem never to have even seen Matt10. I don't agree with the pre-trib Rapture/Rupture based at least in part on YaHshua's words in Matt13:24-30 then HIS explanation in v36-43 those taken out FIRST are taken to a place of "weeping and gnashing of teeth". That's because when wheat and tares grow together, at harvest time, the wheat is sooo heavy it bows, while the tares stand up bold, proud and unfruitful. In John17 YaHshua's prayer particularly v15 where HE specifically says "I do not pray that YOU should take them out of the world..."adds to that evidence. Only in Western countries where few of the populace goes through torture can this particular teaching flourish---this in spite of the fact that YaHshua says "when they persecute you" Matt10:23 and John15:20.

Finally if you combine YAHUAH'S handwritten (with HIS own finger) "invitations/Divine Appointments" in Ex34 esp v10-29, with the parable in Matt22:1-14 stating how the KING/YAHUAH sent HIS Servants aka the prophets out with invitations to the Wedding Feast/Tabernacles aka Sukkot/Time of Revealing Maschiach which clearly took place at the Transfiguration in Matt17:1-9 (v4 Peter says he wants to make 3 booths/tents/sukkahs) for them it becomes clear exactly why YaHshua says in Matt7:21-23 "I never knew you"...it's because we humans made excuses for missing every single Divine Appointment HE set apart for us to take time to get to know HIM. Keeping the Fall Feasts will help you better understand the timing of YaHshua's Return. Also there is still to be a Greater Exodus even if just to get every descendant of Jacob out of the United States and other Western countries (Is11:10-16, Jer31:7-11&31-34, Ez36:24-29, Ez37:22-28, Jer16:14-15, Is43:1-6, Jer23:1-8, Zech14:16-19) will get you started. ALL OF ISRAEL will return to the Land, not just Judah. I believe that the Greater Exodus will actually be the "cause" of all the things the author thinks the Rapture will cause. Can you imagine the devastation that would happen when Every single person that is a descendant of Jacob/IsraEl from all 12 tribes all Leave at 1 time to go home to the Land...without prejudice against skin color (Is11:12-14)..because they are all HIS. Deut30:1-6 esp v4 says even if someone is in "outer space/the farthest parts under the heavens" HE will bring them home to the Land from there too. It's very hard to distinguish, much less destroy moving targets, particularly when they'll be coming from multiple places and will include some of the military advisers and leadership, computer creators/hackers, police, sheriffs and other first responders that would usually help in these efforts. Also, Ez37:15-28 says "and their companions" which means "gentile friends" who have joined themselves to IsraEl just as Eph2:11-22 says about the "one new man" making Is49 a reality. It's going to be GLORIOUS!!😁🥰

A wonderful job explaining the 144,000's mission and that of the 2 witnesses. Love that a biblical explanation of beliefs is given in the last few chapters, which shows the study ethic that went into the writing.

Wonderful

I own over 800 yes 800 audio books and almost never write reviews. With that said.
I very much enjoyed the fictional portion of this story and it’s predecessor in this story line but the commentary at the end I found priceless. To the author thank you!
I’m so glad your out there and I’m looking forward to your stories last book. I think your doing something very valuable

Awesome and Well Done!

I love the fiction part of the story to have a 'visual'. Most of all I love the in-depth Biblical verses that gave you your inspiration of The Day of Ezekiel's Hope. Looking forward to the third and climax of God's story!

Very inspirational!

As the first book in the series, I enjoyed this second one just as much!! I loved it so much I've purchased several hard copies to share with others, praying they will receive the same inspiration!! The author does a very good job with the narration, but it wouldn't be bad to have a male for certain sections. Can't wait for the 3rd and, sadly, final book!

Great Story - Great Factual Details

Like the author, none of us knows all the details regarding the coming Tribulation. Through my own ongoing study of many sources based on Scripture, I agree with nearly everything the author puts forth in this series, with one major exception: I believe that all children who are too young to be accountable for their sins are taken to heaven in the Rapture based on what I know about God’s heart and what Scripture says about children. We’ll see…,,,,

While I enjoyed ‘reading’ the first book

I did not enjoy listening to the second book. Unfortunately the author narrates this book, and to be honest I was looking forward to the end. All the accents were just over the top and irritating and distracting from the story. I’ll be reading the final book. Otherwise it’s a good read.
