Publisher's summary

Now available in audio, the best-selling edition of the most important noncanonical apocalyptic text.

This superlative translation by noted scholar and theologian R. H. Charles is one of the best and most complete available. The introduction by esoteric bookseller and antiquarian bookseller R. A. Gilbert helps place the Book of Enoch in historical context and dispels many of the dubious interpretations previously attributed to it.

The Book of Enoch's vision of the apocalypse takes a very different view than that of Western Christians, although it is part of the biblical canon for Ethiopian and Eritrean Christians. According to Enoch, the wicked shall be cast out and the good will realize a literal heaven on earth. The prophecies also contain the lost "Book of Noah", early references to a messiah as "Christ", and an accounting of the angels and subsequent creation of demons.

Good listen, interesting content

I enjoyed the book of Enoch. My only complaint is that the narrator was difficult to focus on for long periods of time. I would have preferred a more theatric narration.

A lot to Digest

I enjoy the ancient knowledge written in strange metaphors and parables. For anyone who enjoys religious texts or just into the ancient stuff in general.

This book should be in the Bible.

Removed from the Bible so we could be deceived by NASA. The earth is flat and this book elaborates on how the solar system works.

A definite read for Scholars

A book of Biblical knowledge that is not pertinent to salvation, but definitely an opening to understanding more of the complex nature of the spiritual. A greater layout of old testament knowledge prior to the flood. The details contained within should not be taken lightly and consumed in incremental periods. Great work of compiling knowledge from a time before time.
