Give it a chance; it is worth your time

I thoroughly enjoyed it!
In depth details up front are worth the set up. Some things you see coming but are still delightful to hear. You find yourself cheering for her and sharing in her delight of the beauty in simple things. The narrator did a wonderful performance. I would look for more books read specifically by her.

❤️ Story!!!
Wonderful and light hearted Victorian romance!!! Always have loved this book!!! The reader was really good with all the characters in this book. Not an easy feat with L.M. Montgomery books as there are sooo many. I'd love to hear the reader read the author's book "Tangled Web".

charming
Updated Cinderella story. At first I was put off by the simplistic narrative. it seemed to get more and more delightful as the story progressed. Not a handsome prince, More of a frog, but that's ok too!

I love this book.
I read this book through Kendall last year, and I loved it. I just finished this edition and this narrator was excellent. I absolutely love this book. it is so worth reading.

Thank you for bringing this favourite of more than 50 years to audible. Now if only someone would do an unabridged version of The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge.

Move over Anne of Green Gables
I have been enamored with all things Anne from an early age and even into adulthood. I just recently found out about “The Blue Castle” this Spring and decided to give it a whirl. You can’t go wrong with a L.M. Montgomery novel. I couldn’t stop listening. I love the transformation of Valancy and her pure and honest nature. It is an “Anne” novel for adults that you can’t put down!

What a true delight!!
I really loved this book and was very surprised at the humor, the pathos and the beautiful descriptions of nature. it was a sheer delight to hear the story of this poor unfortunate girl who had a dream and how it all materialized for her.
