Publisher's summary

How do you win a soccer game when you don't even want to be on the team?

When Hunter Hercules, the biggest soccer star in the Northlands, is transferred to play in the Motherlands, he's mad as hell. Not only is their style of soccer different, but they have mixed teams, and his female captain, Emanuela, calls him unsophisticated and claims that she's a better player than him. What a f--king joke!

The whole thing is ridiculous and infuriating to Hunter. That's why when the soccer club sends all the players on a team-building trip, Hunter shows up determined to put the little woman in her place.

It should have been easy, but Emanuela isn't a normal, sweet Motlander he can push around. She's competitive to the bone, and when Hunter plays dirty, she's fast to adapt and hit him back tenfold. Someone should have warned her not to mess with an Nman.

Contains mature themes.

Great sequel

This SQL contains romance and steam. It was nice to see Hunter and Sol forgiving each other at the end. Another great book by Elin Peer.
Once again the narration was superb

Liked it

This book was quite funny; laughed throughout the story. The characters were mostly likable. The narrators did a great job as usual. Looking forward to the next book!

I love this whole series the first one and the genius we’re my favorites but this is a nice back story for Jonah too.

I Love this Author!!!

I’m so grateful I came across this author. The banter between her main characters is just outstanding. This book has very little in regard to “hot scenes”. Most of the story is the relationship between the 2 main characters. I would recommend that you read this series in order because the previous characters are mentioned throughout the book and sometimes even play a significant role. Happy Reading😃

Seriously creative, funny, and romantic.

I have listened to this series many times and love it more each time. This installment could be my favorite. Hunter is an N-man all the way but because he attended the school and has Willow is a bit more open-minded and tolerant with the Motlanders.
Elin Peer is a genius. The readers are brilliant. Both of them. I usually don’t care for male readers but John Masterson truly nailed this one.

I loved this story! It’s a great balance of romance, hot steamy, scenes, humor, and truly touching, tender moments. This has it all!

Really Disappointing

Hunter and Emanuella are miserable people. Jeez. they are both so judgmental and narcissistic. Emanuella is especially righteous and the biggest nag ever!!! Hunter I kinda get since he was away from home, in a relatively foreign culture and had been hurt in the past. Emanuella is just a self centered jerk. I had no desire for them to end up together but at least they aren’t making anyone else miserable.

That said - don’t judge this series on this book. The rest are really fun, fresh, and exciting.

Better than the last one

This story got better towerd the end. A bit slow at the beginning. I loved the FMC as a different Motlander. Hunters story was a good twist. I cant quit this series!
