Awesome series!!!!
One of the best audible series. Great writing, story line, and character development. The narrator is a pleasure to listen to and only adds to an already superb story. It is because of gems like this I have been audible listener for nearly 12 plus years.

Maybe the best Isabella Rose story yet.
I split between listening to and reading this book. The narration is excellent and it blends with my reading, I couldn't tell you now which parts I read and which parts I heard.
I really like all the Mark Dawson books, I think I've read all the Milton books and all the mother and daughter Rose books. This one moves along to a satisfactory ending. I really like how Dawson incorporates Michael Pope into the Isabella Rose stories.

A different kind of story. But ,engaging.I would
recommend it as a study in intrigue. A story filled with compassion and desire for justice.I hope anyone who will listen to it will come to the conclusion that it will satisfy their feelings.

Hooked on lame series
First off the narrator is mediocre at best...does horrible on the female voices. Secondly, Dawson again fills his novel with unnecessary street names, turns, scenic and weaponry description that I'm able to multi task while listening and not miss any of the story line. Having said that, when the author does address the subject matter of the book it's really well written with plenty of suspense and action to the plot. Isabella is gaining traction as an assassin and was glad to see Pope reimerg in the thick of things; sans his wife and family. That's another part of the story that irritated me as Pope's wife was portrayed as an unfeeling unappreciative woman who didn't care about him or what he went thru to save his family. Anyway, as usual I will be waiting on the follow-up book in this series.

I Love this Series!!!
This Isabella Rose series is ridiculously good! Dawson’s writing is amazing, but it’s Ryan’s narration that seals the deal. I recommend this book to all.
