Publisher's summary

Caring for a vampire is a dirty job, but Georgia Sutherland is just the woman to do it. As the go-to gal for her recovering master, she has everything a girl can dream of - except for the man that she loves, Ren. Still, Georgia refuses to give up hope. For a chance at bliss, she's willing to risk rekindling her relationship with a rival vampire family.

Meanwhile, halfway across the country, Paige DeMarco has given up her old name and her old life, and finally found a man worth her time. Unfortunately for her, werewolf relationships aren't as simple as she hoped, especially when her vampire ex rolls into town.

Both women have to face the facts: Once you get involved with vampires, life becomes complicated. As their lives intertwine, ghosts of the past rise up to haunt them. The only question is, can there ever be a happily ever after for those entangled with the undying?

Great Story, Great Listen

This is an amazing addition to the series. Webs woven through the centuries with intrigue and betrayal. Check out Four and Six then enjoy Ten.

I don't know what to do with all of these emotions

- Josh here

This was a story I loved to hate. I am not going to lie, I had a huge swath of mixed emotions as I went through the third entry in the Rules Undying series. Everything from laughing, to anxiety, to sadness, to outright anger. The sign of a good author is one that can keep you enthralled throughout a story. The sign of a great author is one that can make you feel all of these emotions in a single story.

Mrs. Carr is definitely the latter of the two. Never before have I wanted to reach out to an author and strangle them while shouting "WHY?!?!?!?" I had to pull over on my way home from the hospital after a certain scene in the book hit me. I wasn't sure what to do with myself because of the emotions it brought out. The scene was so unexpected that I had to gather my thoughts. The scene I am speaking of was one of three that got to me, emotionally. The second involved Jeffrey at the ball and the third was the ending.

The narration for this series has involved 200-fold since I first listened to Four upon its first release. The ONLY complaint I have right now is that there isn't a pause between scene changes (Georgia to Paige or Paige to Georgia). They just flow right together and I had to skip back a few times to make sure I hadn't missed the transition. Other than that, Alejandra worked some awesome magic into this story. I absolutely love her Kyle, Mr. Lambley (of course - especially in the scene where you could tell he was heartbroken), and BAM-YIN LUNG!!! Bam Bam was easily my favorite character in this part of the series. Loved him and the narration Alejandra put towards him.

This was the best entry in the series so far and I can't wait to move on to Point One Five. Very well done, Mrs. Carr and Alejandra!
