Publisher's summary

The breathtaking fourth installment of the New York Times best-selling Shadow Falls series.

Shadow Falls Camp is back in session with the most explosive installment yet. A shocking new threat will rock Shadow Falls - changing it forever and altering Kylie’s journey in ways she never imagined.

Even at a camp for supernatural teens, Kylie Galen has never been normal. Not only can she see ghosts, but she doesn’t seem to belong to any one species - she exhibits traits from them all. As Kylie struggles to unlock the secrets of her identity, she begins to worry that Lucas will never be able to accept her for what she is, and what she isn’t… a werewolf. With his pack standing in their way, Kylie finds herself turning more and more to Derek, the only person in her life who's willing to accept the impossible.

As if life isn’t hard enough, she starts getting visits from the ghost of Holiday, her closest confidante. Trouble is, Holiday isn’t dead… not yet anyway. Now Kylie must race to save one of her own from an unseen danger before it’s too late - all while trying to stop her relationship with Lucas from slipping away forever.

In a world of constant confusion, there’s only one thing Kylie knows for sure: Change is inevitable and all things must come to an end… maybe even her time at Shadow Falls.

The same questions, over and over and over...

A series with great potential which goes nowhere. From first book to fourth, Kylie is immature and self-absorbed, lying not only to herself but to everyone she knows. Should have just read the first book four times.

Disappointing

This was a dissapointing fourth book - nothing really happens the first 2/3 of the book and was quite boring and listening to all of the mundane details and filler inner dialogue of Kylee was annoying - it was apparent the author was trying to stretch the series out and didn't have enough material. It was so bad that I'm not going to take a risk on the 5th book in case it's no better. The narrator does a good job, but couldn't save the boring book. I do not recommend it.

Ready for this story to move along more.

I have read this series and although I have enjoyed it and am interested in learning how things turn out for Kylie, I am hoping that in future additions to this series that the story itself moves along a little more. Some issues and questions are dragging out a bit and resolutions to some of these are long overdue.

Im hoping that future installments contain some conclusion or even new areas to uncover or I may lose interest and let the remainder of this series go unread.

Fantastic

Awesome series. The third book is kind of slow but the others are full of suspense, action, romance and plot twists. Great writing. Love it.

The best one yet

The best one yet. This one was by far the best one yet. It still drives me crazy how she keeps stuff a secret but I God I love these books. I cannot wait to read the next one. I love the narrator too.

loving this series

such a great take on growing pains, diversity and acceptance, first love and parental trust. I do love this series as an older adult there is some nostalgia to my feelings similar to some of the story lines that are told so well. Bravo C.C., for incorporating good manners and ethics prior to the current millennial selfishness and disrespect.
