An enjoyable Reichs YA novel

I read this book years ago, but having it in my Audible database, decided to listen to it. I was immediately taken back to an island off the coast of North Carolina and into a totally enjoyable science-based, sci-fi mystery. I’m an avid reader of Kathy Reichs and love her Bones series. You’ve got to remember this is a YA novel, so it’s not as complex. It’s a fun read!

The story was great and had enough story details and sci fi aspect especially for girls interested in mysteries.It was a just a good story! I would love to read more of their stories. Kathy Rechs are you listening?

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the characters and their relationships. Enjoyed a detailed plot line too.

What does Cristin Milioti bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She had just the right voice quality for a young girl and put that feeling into the reading.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved that all was resolved in the end.

This was nostalgic

Vitals has been my favorite book since seventh grade and when I found it on Audible I couldn’t resist listening to it. The way Cristin reads is immaculate and made me feel like I was in the story. I love this book and the performance.

Great read!!

Suprizingly a great read! It had me sucked in from the first page and had it finished by the next evening. I would definitely recommend this book for all ages.

A Great Book for Teen Girls to Read

I would love to have all 13 year old girls read this book just to introduce them to Tory, who is so smart, witty, loyal and strong. I think she makes a fantastic roll model, and this story has a great "Scooby Gang" vibe about it that was really fun.

A real page turner!

Exciting, interesting mystery/sci fi appropriate for ages 12 and up. Imaginative while capruring what teens face. Can't wait to start the next one!

excellent young adult book

If you could sum up Virals in three words, what would they be?

This was a great book. It was hard to pause it because you didn't want to see what was going to happen next. The author did a great job and the 2nd book is just as good. Can't wait for the third installment.

The emotions of Tory and the ability to change her voice to understand that seperate characters were involved.

Well read. Well written. No filler prose. Convoluted entertaining, intelligent and worth the time and money. Young sleuthing at it’s very best.
