A great listen

This is a youth book but I was riveted. A bit of fantasy with the crime but fast paced and fun. I loved the wolf dog.

Good for a YA

Very good for a YA novel. Had it's secondhand embarrassment moments but overall was satisfying, another good book by Kathy Reich's, and the narrator did a fantastic job!

Loved this story for adolescents

I am a Kathy Reichs fan and I loved this story. It was trite in a few places, but overall a great distraction during a long commute.

Beter then Expected

I was listening to this book to see if it was OK for my youngest daughter (9) and got hooked myself. Turns out that the story line was well put together and had many twist and turns. The narrator, Cristin Milioti was OK, but nothing fantastic.

This book is geared toward the young teenager, but anyone will get hooked into the storyline.

very refreshing!

LOVE! warning, the beginning is a bit slow, but the story picks up! It has good description and characters.

A wonderfully rich fancy from the creator of Temperance Brennan

I like escapism. It's what I look for in books, TV shows, and films. Virals is packed with crazy action, adventure, character, and humour. Lots of fun, and though it's tied into the Bones universe it's best read as a completely separate property. It's a fantasy rather than a science nerd-out, and while Reichs's talent continues in Virals, it's a tangential slide into a totally new genre. Enjoy it for what it is, and don't expect Bones.

Hook your kids on reading!

I downloaded the first three books in the Virals series and got my ten year old hooked! She has to physically read the fourth before I will download the fifth book. Listening to this series has made some excruciatingly long car rides seem much quicker.

Good book

Awesome book I like the part where there’s real science and fake science and how the beginning of the book they’re running and then it brings you back to the beginning

Great series to discover!

If you haven't listened to Kathy Reichs' Viral series yet, treat yourself! I loved all three books and just discovered that book 4 is out in hardcopy and book 5 is due out in March of 2014. The series is listed for 'kids' but honestly this much, much older kid loves the series. So creative in her story lines, and Christin Milioti is the perfect voice for these books. She definitely brings each character to life!

3rd Times a charm

I read this book series back in 7th grade for a project. Love the plot and story. This is the 3rd time I'm reading this series (been a few years). Love Reichs and her books. Sci-fi yet also somewhat non-fiction and somehow combined to make the perfect book series.
